Beautiful home, very well stocked and very clean. Living room Furniture was very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable too. Lots of games for kids and adults to enjoy. Elevator was very convenient for luggage and groceries.

The place was amazing. Actually better than described. So much room. And the river outback is very nice. The owners were very friendly and prompt with everything. would highly recommend. We ended up getting an extra day just to relax and so glad we did.

The Bayou Shack was absolutely perfect - we had our daughters wedding at Magnolia Manor and had all the bridesmaids plus grandparents at the house — Love the fact that it was so senior friendly for elevators to recliners that lifted to a stand - to the big room on the third floor where all the girls could hang out and enjoy this moment all night long and not disturb the rest of us - fully stocked with all necessities - lovely decorated and clean and comfortable !! This place should be renamed the Bayou Castle!! The little ones loved the closets full of toys and fishing ! Thank you Amber for being a Super Host and so Easy to work with it just added to the magic of the weekend !!! Every person that stayed shared we truly had the perfect accommodation’s!

We came to cook, eat, sleep and fish and we did just that. Our host could not have been more accommodating. The house was very comfortable - truly suitable for a large group with room to spare. The fish didn't bite due to the cold front that came through but the sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. While fishing we watched many birds. It was relaxing. We are a family of cooks and had a great time cooking in both kitchens. Our host was very understanding when we destroyed a knob on the stove and had to replace it. Our only suggestions for guests is to bring mosquito perimeter spray aplenty! No lights on the deck so bring your own if you want to fish at night. We highly recommend both venue and host.

What a wonderful experience with Amber. She answered all my questions and the house was well equipped for us to host rehearsal dinner for my son that got married in Angleton. The bottom floor work well for cooking and creating a buffet line. Everything was labeled and easy to find. Thank you to the owners for opening up their house for rentals to host parties. The best touch was the elevator so my parents couls get to the main floor.
