One Bedroom on the Beach ~ Splash Pad ~ Phoenix East

Just what you need for your beach getaway. This one bedroom will put you in your happy place! The bedroom has white furniture including a king bed with colorful bedding, plus two nightstands graced by two teal lamps. A dresser and a stand with a flat screen and DVD player. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination. In the kitchen, everything you need for condo cooking (including a flat top stove), and in the dining area, with beautiful wood table that seats four. A tropical floral patterned sofa and matching chair with an ottoman take center stage in the den, with a black high-tech rocker and foot stool, plus a writing desk and CD player. On a cottage style stand, a flat screen TV and DVD/VCR combo. Keep an eye out for the pink flamingo!

Loved this property! The unit itself was perfect and was all my Fiancé and I needed! Check in/out also went very smooth! The owners and leasing company provided great communication. The only reason for a 4 out of 5 rating was due to the bedding & linens… not to be picky but while you’re at the beach and getting much sun, the sheets and towels could stand to be softer! Other than that one item, we were more than pleased with all it offered! Thanks

All in all our stay was very pleasant and our unit was good. I feel the unit does need some upgrading to more modern standards. All in all as with every Phoenix we have stayed in, other than the weather, nothing to complain about!

the carpet and chair were dirty and stained

We put a sheet over the couch before setting on it.. the chair was just as bad. the carpeting was dirty and matted. The rest of the house keeping was very good. clean sheets, towels etc. the complex is very clean and well kept. but a little bit noisy. we would not go back to this room unless it was updated with new carpeting, couch and chair.

Good, but could have been great.....

So the property was great. The room was clean, stocked with everything and was very comfortable. The main problem came with the chair rentals, outdoor and indoor pools. While in the outdoor pool, people were vaping around the pool, throwing footballs, and other items. It's especially frustrating when we want to get into the shallow end with our youngest child and we have to keep dodging footballs etc. The indoor pool had a lot of unsupervised kids who were rough-housing. They were wrestling, throwing each other in the pool, jumping almost on top of me or my kids a few times. 2 of the boys in there said they were 8 and 9 years old and had no parents with them. The chair rentals were not good at all. We rented chairs, but constantly had people on top of us, setting up right next to us, or right in front of us. The last day we went down to our chairs and a family of 6 or 7 had set up directly in front of us with an umbrella. We don't smoke, so them smoking bothered us as well. We were luckily able to move 3 sets down, but it's an inconvenience. Other than those 3 complaints, everything was fantastic as usual. I know that these complaints may seem petty to some, but we want to be able to relax completely and not have to fight inconsiderate people.

The construction that was taking place created such a nuisance that the ambiance of the beach was overshadowed by the sound of grinders and concrete saws. When we arrived, we. Couldn’t even get to the desk because of the plastic sheeting that had the entire lobby quartered off. If we had now about this prior to our booking, we would have chosen another Phoenix property. We always stay at the Phoenix East I or II. This was a very disappointing stay. We had to ask that maintenance sweep the concrete and debris off the back deck before we could use it. We were given a number to call and told that the contractor was not under their control. The plastic sheeting that obscured our deck and balcony view was annoying and again, we should have been warned ahead of time. We left a day early just because the noise from the construction and the added confusion wasn’t worth fighting the Saturday traffic. In an effort into salvage the day that the construction crew was working beside our room, we left and went to a local hangout for the day. When we returned, the construction crews had taken up 6 of the guests parking spots in the row across from the green owner parking spots, and we had to park on the rear of the lot. We were already upset, but that just added to the frustration. I have trusted Brett Robinson for 35 years, this will definitely make me think twice in June, October, and March. Highly disappointed to say the least.

Amazing view from Phoenix East II

Spectacular View from Balcony! Beach front. Very clean condo. Well equipped. Perfect experience for 1st time Orange Beach trip! We made a lot of fun Memories. Kudos to Phoenix East II & it’s staff!!! We will stay there again.

Could have been cleaned better!

Bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. Bathtub and toilet both not cleaned. A few kitchen dishes we had to wash before using them 2 large towels for 3 nights. Never had that happen before. We left it being cleaner than when we walked in no doubt. Overall was easy access to the beach. Very friendly people that work there and love Orange Beach.
