The property was cute and was fun with the goats to look at. It was quiet and had everything we needed. Would love to stay there again when we go back to Waco to visit family.
Very cozy spot with a country view and fun animals nearby.
We were glad to have a nice place to lay our homecoming weary heads! Much more character and pleasure than a hotel room. Thank you.

Great!
A group of 6 of us stayed here and everything we needed was provided. The host replies quickly and is very helpful. The pull out couch was all springs so one person slept on the couch and another on the cot and it was fine.

Clean and Cute
We kinda like the place honestly. It’s clean almost got everything we need (pans, pots, utensils and cups) got to enjoy our coffee in the morning. The internet is really bad especially when your watching a movie you gotta wait to reload. The beds are so uncomfortable. It’s hard to get a good night sleep. But overall we still enjoyed our stay.

Perfect get-away!
This is such a charming home, and offered everything we needed and more! We enjoyed being just outside of Waco, yet only 15 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go in town. This rental is warm, inviting, and perfectly clean! My children loved playing with the friendly mini mule. He is so adorable! It was a great experience for us typical "city slickers" to enjoy the great outdoors. There were SO MANY stars to see at night. WOW!

Great stay
My sister and I stayed here while on a shopping trip, two bedrooms were great! Gave us space to spread out! House was out of town and had farm animals around. We enjoyed the donkey, goats and chickens near by. (We are farm girls) House was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Would stay there again.

Absolutely perfect!
This is a darling cottage that is cozy and comfy! It has sweet personal touches and seasonal decorations. It was impeccably cleaned and provided coffee for guests. The owner was very responsive when I had questions. It is located out in the country about 15 minutes from Waco but the drive was definitely worth it.

Very clean and comfortable little house. Everything you need for an out-of-town stay.
The extra touch of seasonal decorations gave a "homey" feel; much appreciated. Would recommend for singles, couples and families. Great little place!

Cute and clean little house
We stayed for a weekend while visiting the area. Dog-friendly, newly remodeled and clean. Neighborhood is out in the country and quiet. Neighbors had chickens, goats, and a horse which kept our puppy entertained. About a 20-minute drive from Waco and 10 minutes front McGregor.

Interior cute and clean, exterior not what we expected
I DO think it was very cute and very clean inside . The hosts were quickly responsive and very nice. The linens were very clean and worry free. Having a one-night rental option was a huge plus. The porch and scenery were very relaxing, and the neighborhood is quiet. It's a cute place and comfortable to stay in, if there are 4 or fewer adults. (The room with the twin beds is more suitable for children bc the room is styled more childlike rather than for adults-So this house would serve 2 adults and 2-3 kids well.
Issues to be aware of 1) The sleeper sofa is really, really uncomfortable, you can feel the springs through the mattress I wouldn't plan on this as a sleeping option. 2) The A/C simply couldn't keep up with the heat of a Texas summer and a full house, especially in the kitchen living room areas, the bedrooms were better and they kept up fine during the night.. 3) The Wifi was a bit iffy, though we certainly had a lot of devices in it. 4) The listing photos make the site and rooms to be much larger than they are. While rural, there's not a great deal of space between the HomeAway house and other people. It is essentially in the host's backyard, which is fine if expected, we did not so we were disappointed. Also, while we saw a cute bunny, a horse, heard the goats and chickens, we also saw from the porch unkept spaces, and other neighbors backyards.
Overall the house is much tinier in person than what it looks like online. The kitchen is small, and there's little room in the bedrooms for extra cots or air mattresses. The TV was tiny.

Clean and Cute
Great size and price, very clean(!). Close to waco, beautiful country side. Kristen was very responsive while we were there but it was a little unfortunate that we had to bother her so much for little basics like a broom or a sponge to wash dishes with. Toys provided for our little kiddos was very thoughtful but oddly there was no kitchen basics like sugar or creamer to go with the coffee and no salt or pepper (I've never rented a place with a kitchen that didn't have salt and pepper :) or a sauce-pan like I would've expected in a rental not situated within walking distance of resturants. Other than these quirks, I would definitely stay again. Overall, an excellent rental!

Peaceful
I loved staying in the little house. The house was just the right size. It was very clean. It is located on a cul-de-sac so there is no traffic noise. The house is located in the country with beautiful views. The icing on the cake was a donkey who likes people. I will be back.
