Modern Living inside a former Motorcycle Showroom— Stylish & One of a Kind
Once a motorcycle shop, this unique space has been thoughtfully transformed into a modern retreat with vintage flair.
Step through the original showroom doors into an airy, open-concept living space that seamlessly blends the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The kitchen is anchored by a tiled breakfast bar—perfect for morning coffee—bathed in natural light from the oversized glass garage door. Slide it open to access a spacious, fully fenced patio ideal for relaxing or entertaining.
The bathroom features a walk-in tiled shower and a charming vintage green sink and toilet set. After your shower, wrap yourself in a warm towel fresh from the heated rack.
In the living area, unwind with a large smart TV and stream your favorite shows, or cozy up by the electric fireplace during the colder months.
The bedroom features large windows that welcome in soft morning light, creating a peaceful start to your day. An open wardrobe keeps the space airy while offering plenty of room for your essentials.
This is a home with personality and soul, perfect for someone seeking a reliable stay in a space that feels anything but ordinary.

About the host
Hosted by Alexa Perry

I (Lexi) was born and raised in Saugerties! After spending a decade between NYC and LA, my husband and I returned to the Hudson Valley to plant roots and start our family. We purchased this home two years ago as both an investment and a place to grow together. These days, we split our time between Saugerties and Mallorca, Spain (where my husband is from), and we love sharing our space with guests while we're away. We hope you enjoy the home and the area as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
We love starting our mornings with a family walk along the Empire State Trail—just down the street from the house! It’s a favorite spot for our dog to explore and for our son to ride his bike. It’s one of the many things that makes this location so special for families.
What makes this property unique
I’m Lexi, and I actually grew up just down the street! My dad used to ride his motorcycle to this very spot when it was still the old shop. Years later, when my husband—also a motorcycle enthusiast—and I came across the property, it just felt meant to be. We were drawn to its history and character, and we’ve worked to preserve the spirit of the original shop while blending in our own story along the way.
