We had a wonderful stay. Fairview is in the perfect location to everything in the area. The front steps are incredibly steep as the host notes and if you’re not in great shape or have other issues this could become a problem . However, we overall could not have asked for more. Yes, the climb is worth it!
Stayed at Lisa’s beautiful cabin in the mountains of Fairview and would highly recommend it to others. If you want a peaceful week with a beautiful Mountain View while still being convenient to many attractions you will love it. The stairs from the driveway to cabin were challenging but doable as was our morning walks thru the neighborhood. We used both as our morning workout routine. Lisa was great and responded to texts promptly. Information in the Lazy Bear Cabin book provided adequate information about the cabin and surrounding area. We appreciated the humor and background of how they built this beautiful cabin. The cabin was well stocked and very comfortable for our five night stay. Will be back.
Amazing views and serene setting! The house was spotless and well appointed. We enjoyed the proximity to Asheville, the views from the hot tub, and a fun, family game of Scrabble!
We enjoyed our long weekend at the Lazy Bear Cabin! The home had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay and we were very comfortable. The views were amazing and we would love to stay here again.

We had a great time at this cabin! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.
The cabin was beautiful! It was super clean and sturdy. Communication with the hosts was wonderful, they answered questions I had before the trip and were very responsive and accommodating. Id recommend the cabin and any other cabin from these hosts. We didn't need anything but groceries. Better than any hotel, with a view! It was a short drive to asheville. We drive a Ford explorer and we're able to turn around in the drive with about a 4 point turn. It's marked with reflectors which makes it easier.
Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay over New Years. The cabin was so warm and cozy and even in the winter the views were gorgeous. The home was clean and exactly as described. While the cabin is a quiet escape surrounded by nature, it is close to all the Asheville has to offer. We would love to return someday!

The cabin size was just right for four of us. It was nice going into the hot tub after a day of adventures such as white water rafting and shopping through the towns. We would definitely recommend staying.
We had a great time at the cabin. Lisa was easy to communicate with and we had no issues at all. We definitely would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the area.
