Great beach front view!!

We loved our long weekend get away! The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials for cooking, fixing for making food! The bed were comfortable! We would stay again!

Bed and linens were clean. View was good. Chairs were very uncomfortable ! Not easy access to beach from the house. Place was not well kept up outside. (Tall weeds) Place is older. There was an odor of mold. Made me sick while we were there. So basically ruined my whole stay. Would not stay here again or recommend it. Thank you.

Location was great, deck was awesome, super close to beach access. A/C, fridge, and shower all worked. However, the beach stress is showing on the structure. Doors stuck, uneven flooring, faded paint and sun beaten. Strange electric hums and clicks inside. Every switch makes you feel like you're about to be electrocuted. The road and part of the driveway is also made of sand, something we were unprepared for and almost got stuck.

Love this hidden gem! Right on the beach, roomy inside, fully stocked with whatever you need, and most of all CLEAN!!! Great spot for mini vacays, we are definitely repeat customers!

Awesome location

The house is located right on the beach with wonderful views. It was close to entertainment and local stores for anything you might have forgotten. The house is as described and pictured. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Overall we would stay at this house again. However, I want to mention a few things that I wish I would have known.1. There is only 1 television in the house. So, if everyone is wanting to wind down and go their separate ways, the only option is to be on your phone in the bedrooms.2. The stove really REALLY needs to be replaced. The stovetop burners all slant. Cooking something as simple as bacon was a struggle as one side would cook differently than the other. 3. We ended up going to Walmart for additional cushioning for the pull out bed. You could feel the coils in the mattress.4. I read this in a review already, but assumed they fixed it. The broom was missing its pole and the vacuum did not work. I ended up buying a 10 broom at Walmart. Since it was too expensive for the owners to buy one based on prior reviews, we left it there for future guests.5. The house is right next to the road for public access. Do not have the vision of only you on the beach. To be honest, it was not bad. Everyone left at a decent time and it wasn’t loud. We stayed over a weekend too.6. The company “evolve” did not respond to any of my messages before the trip. I ended up having to call them after a few days of no response . However when we were provided the person of contact for the stay, that person responded to our text messages almost right away. Pretty much, if you ok with the bare minimum and nothing fancy this house will work for you.

Great for our girls weekend

The house was clean and the furniture and beds were comfortable. Being right on the beach was wonderful, watching the sunrise and enjoying the peace and quiet. Its a short drive to Galveston for shopping and restaurants. There is also a local grocery that has most of the conveniences and a large selection of items as well as several restaurants. If the property is available the next time we plan to go to Galveston, we will definitely stay here again.

Galveston Beach Front

Terrific beachfront property perfect to unwind and just be. Home is very comfortable and all WiFi/electronics work perfectly. Love the outdoor shower (cold & hot!)…just need to level off the little puddle area. Woke up each morning to a gorgeous sunrise and we were fortunate enough to have a full moon while there and it was breathtaking during the nighttime. One thing to consider is that if you want to go to “town” it’s a bit of a drive (15-20 min), but mostly enjoyed the privacy. Had a great stay and Crystal was very helpful for the couple of questions we had during our stay. If we were ever to visit Galveston again. This would be a great spot.

Positive points: 1) Awesome location with steps to the beach! 2) Inside the house was clean and comfortable. 3) Air conditioning worked great! Needs improvement: 1) The outside dining table was in poor shape; two chairs and the ottomans were practically unusable. 2) The garage containing the beach chairs and toys was filthy. 3) The aforementioned beach accessories were dirty and falling apart. 4) There was no convenient way to wash off the sand from my body or the beach toys before entering the house; a water hose was in the garage, and there was no outdoor shower. Overall, this place was a poor value, and I couldn’t recommend it to my family or friends.

We enjoyed staying here, it was clean and comfortable. The reason that I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, is because the broom was broken, there was only one sheet pan and no other baking dishes, and the wifi did not work. The owner did spend multiple hours trying to fix the wifi, which we appreciated but in the end we had to buy extra data from our mobile provider. Overall I would stay again.

Best thing about this property is the location. House is need of updating and repairs. Grass appeared to not have been mowed all summer. Buckles and soft spots on flooring. Stove burners do not sit flush therefore making it difficult to cook. Screen door sticks making it hard to open and close. Shelves in shower broken and doors do not slide with ease. Blinks broken and overall cleanliness was muh at best.

Location is GREAT! All else - eh ...

Location is GREAT! All else - eh ... Accuracy of the listing is pretty far off from reality. The listing says 2 TVs but only one is installed. The outside looks worn and a bit ignored for some time. The entrance door/frame to the deck is warped and the lock bolts do not properly engage. The deck dining furniture is badly rusted and unsafe. All of the 4 chairs wobble significantly and 1 fully collapsed. The railing and wall paint is peeling and nail/screw/staples are rusted & showing through paint. In my opinion, the deck needs replacing. The deck to house storm door will not close. All wall light switches broken and/or missing pieces - some work. The living room floor covering is buckled down a line in the center of the floor and the subfloor seems suspect. The stove has no burners that lay down flat making cooking challenging. The kitchen sink is rusted and the faucet damaged. The bathroom's towel racks were not mounted and laying on the vanity. The glass shower shelves were missing from the shower and laying on the sink. One of the shower door roller(s) is missing and makes closing doors to shower very challenging. We booked this beach house to meet with our kiddos and dogs and enjoy the beach - we did that so not all was a loss.

Not Very Nice

The house is just not very nice. It was worn out. The house is located on the public access road to the beach, so expect tons of load traffic and loud music from 6:00am to midnight. There is no access to the beach from the house. You have to walk around and down the public access road. The grass/weeds were knee high all around the house (ugly). In the ONE bathroom, 1 lightbulb out of 8 worked. All of the switch plates over the lights switches were broken and gone. The air conditioner could not chill below 72. There were several places you felt like you would fall through the subfloor. There was black grunge in the master bedroom between all of the fake tile and the plastic baseboards. The Tv wouldn’t turn off. The house is not NEARLY as nice as the photos make it look. I would definitely NOT book here again.

The best thing about this property is the location......beach front! If that's what you want, it's perfect. It's been on this beach for decades and it's starting to show it's age. But if you can look past it's age, the basics are there. Just don't expect new and luxury.
