Birthday getaway weekend

Quite and clean community. The house has two bedrooms and bathrooms. Wrap around porch with front roll ocean views. Absolutely stunning! We didn't want to leave. Beautiful home we had a great time.

We had a fantastic stay. This house came equipped with everything we needed for the beach. Toys, chairs and towels. communication with the host was awesome! Had such an amazing stay. Steps to the beach made it so convenient. We had a rainy day so having the games to play was a huge bonus for us. We will be back

great weekend trip. perfect location. the only thing i would recommend to the owner is to make the location of the lockbox a little clearer. we did find it, but it took 5-10 minutes or so. maybe even text a picture of the lockbox location to future renters.

Second Stay

It was our family’s second stay at the charming Salt Air Cottage for a wonderful beach vacation with all the comforts of home. We never want to leave. Our host, Stevie, was awesome as always, and we plan to visit again!

We had a fun and relaxing stay at Salt Air! Great location on the beach. The inside was clean and thoughtfully decorated. Host was very responsive and thoughtful and even gave us restaurant recommendations. Kitchen and bathroom contained all the needed essentials. We would definitely come back.

Perfect beach get-away

This cottage was absolute perfection. Right on the beach. Beautifully decorated. Well stocked with linens and kitchen items. Comfy beds. The deck is incredible. Can't say enough! We've been coming to Bermuda Beach for over 10 years, mulitple times a year, and Salt Air is one of the best places to stay. Book it. Book it NOW! You will be so glad you did!

Lovely and quaint

Salt Air Cottage tops the list in cleanliness, comfort and location. Cleanliness and comfortable beds are of upmost importance to us - I'm giving it 5 stars! We loved the covered porch, spectacular view and short steps to the beach. This home definitely has a coastal vibe that makes you feel far from home. Lovely little details will be memorable. If all of this wasn't enough, Stevie is the most gracious host ever. Thank you for our stay.

Relaxing Getaway

Just what the doctor ordered. The property was perfect for me and my wife to have a short getaway to relax in a beautifully furnished and stocked beach house, the waves breaking just off the patio, a glass of wine in hand and a good book nearby. The fully stocked kitchen made meals a breeze and the espresso in the morning was the right start to the day. We will definitely stay here again - thank you for a fantastic weekend.

Salt Air Cottage

Fantastic waterfront property just steps from the beach. Very comfortable and well-appointed with comfortable seating areas inside, on be wrap-around porch, and underneath the house. Full sets of cookware and barware. Plenty of towels and blankets. Outdoor shower is a bonus after time at the beach. Recommend without hesitation. Enjoy!

Christmas On The Coast

Hubby & I had the most wonderful Christmas alone this year. We loved Salt Air Cottage! The bed was comfy, linens luxurious. The house was appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our Holiday! The Welcome drink was fantastic! We spent hours walking the beach finding beautiful shells. The house is in a quiet area, but convenient to Galveston. Perfect getaway! Wonderful experience!

Stevie was an incredible help throughout our entire stay. Amazing service throughout! We absolutely loved everything - the house, the thoughtful touches, the location and extra amenities. It was perfect for my husband and me and our 2 young daughters. Very quiet and peaceful and we never had to leave the house or the beach the entire time. We highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway. Thank you so much Stevie for the hospitality! We will book again!

The Perfect Retreat

We feel so refreshed after a long weekend at the Salt Air Cottage. This home is so cozy and has an amazing view of the beach. We enjoyed reading on the porch with the sounds of the ocean in the background. Our dogs also loved lounging on the porch. The best part of our stay was waking up early to catch the gorgeous sunrises (and we’re not usually morning people, but the views were just that good). The kitchen also had everything we needed to cook throughout the weekend. We will definitely be back for the views and the specialty mimosas (IYKYK).

I don’t know where to start! This beach house was so relaxing so clean. We literally took a few steps down and we are on the beach. The front view was amazing! Everything you need (pots pan plates silverware to off est. I love they put a camera on the island so you can take a pic with your family and put it on the wall. I know I haven’t really said so much more that’s cause I was speechless on the house. I gives it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing Location and Nice House

The house had one of the best locations with steps to the beach. We saw dolphins from the porch. Loved the style and decor. We really enjoyed our stay minus a few issues. We never got any check-in info. I reached out to the owners the night before and contacted VRBO when they didn't reply within a reasonable amount of time. The only light in one bedroom didn't work and the guest toilet kept clogging. The owner tried to make up for these issues by having dinner delivered. I declined at first, but she really wanted to offer us something. We agreed to a pizza delivery, but she forgot to order it. I reached out asking about it and she did call to apologize. We got our delivery a few hours later than planned. We did really enjoy ourselves and will always cherish our time here. The communication with the owner was stressful as we did not always get a reply and when we did, it was usually a long time after reaching out. Loved the camera they offered of taking pics and sharing memories, but there was no film and looked like there hasn't been in a while as there were no 2023 photos up. Loved the outdoor shower and the porch can't be beat. Lots of comfortable furniture on porch. Overall, it was a good stay and we had a great time.

The photos in the listing must’ve been taken a long time ago. It’s aged more, but that’s no problem for me. That way I don’t have to worry about too much. my dog and I had a wonderful, relaxing time, and looking forward to returning and staying another week. It was perfect for usLove the long covered porch, it’s where I spent most of my time. We did the dolphin tour out of Galveston. That’s a great tour. My dog loved it.

This is one of the beach homes that has stood the test of time. It is very functional and has been nicely remodeled inside. The exterior of the building, especially the facia, deck and stairs needs the same treatment as the inside has received. The water pressure was very low though sufficient for our use. Our stay on the beach was very pleasant and we loved the morning sun rise views from the porch overlooking the beach and gulf.
