Can Ros is an eighteenth century farmhouse completely restored, located 3.5 km from the village of Cistella in the Alt Empordà region. It is located in an idyllic spot, in the middle of a mixed forest of pines, oaks and oaks, overlooking the Gulf of Roses, the Cap de Creus massif and the Alberas.
In the surroundings of the Masía, it is not uncommon to see examples of Mediterranean fauna, such as deer, roe deer, wild boar, foxes, eagles, badgers, etc.

It is ideal to spend a few days of rest in full nature, accompanied by the sound of birds.
La Masía is rented under independent rural accommodation, with capacity for 8 people. The price includes everything you need to feel like in your own home, with complete kitchenware, sheets, blankets, towels, washing machine, television, and firewood for the fireplace.

Lovely!!

We had a magical week at this beautiful, private property! We felt secluded, but our host also messaged often, provided recommendations and was available if we required anything. It’s a beautiful house, exactly as represented, and central to activities from the mountains to the sea!

Great house and great location !

We spent 3 days at the end of December in this house. Everything was perfect : communication with the owner was very easy, the house was as described and was really comfortable. There is a very large outdoor space with a ping pong table, swings and a nice pool (which was closed at the time we stayed). The view on the surroundings mountains was absolutely fabulous. We reallly recommend this place !

Beautiful villa

A lovely villa in the hills. Quite isolated and up a dirt track but added to the fun of arriving and we saw deer on the track a few times. Lovely pool and garden and very comfortable villa. The owner is very helpful recommending beaches, restaurants and places to visit. Thank you.

Belle villa isolée. Si vous rêvez de tranquillité, de promenade dans la campagne et de repos, c est l endroit idéal. Propriété magnifique. La piscine est grande avec 8 transats mais manque malheureusement d entretien pendant le séjour. Terrasse super avec magnifique vue. Table de ping pong pour les sportifs! Je vous conseille l endroit malgré la villa qui vieillit doucement et le manque de quelques ustensiles de cuisine pratique. (Four, grille-pain…)

Tolle Unterkunft mit nettem Vermieter

Mitten im Wald gelegenes Grundstück, viele Tiere in der Umgebung gesehen (Rehe, Wildschweine, Wiedehopfe), sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus mit perfektem WLAN und ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Haus in absolut ruhiger Lage

Wir sind herzlich von dem Eigentümer und seinen Töchtern empfangen worden. Nach einem Rundgang im Haus und auf dem Grundstück ging unser Urlaub auch schon los. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß und hat viel Platz zum spielen und toben. Die nächsten Nachbarn sind ein ganzes Stück weit weg, hier kann man auch mal laut sein. Die Zimmer waren alle sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Terrasse ist großzügig und für ein Frühstück bei Sonnenaufgang sehr schön. Der Pool ist sehr schön angelegt mitten in einer Wiese. Die Liegen waren sehr gut und bequem. Der Weg ist wie schon oft beschrieben auf den letzten 20 Minuten eine Schotterpiste. Je nach Jahreszeit sind dies evtl. etwas mehr oder weniger ausgewaschen. Mit einem tiefergelegten Auto würde ich den Weg nicht fahren, man würde nicht ankommen. Wir sind mit einem Astra Sports Tourer (Kombi) gut durchgekommen, auch wenn die erste Fahrt schon sehr spannend war. Man weiß ja nicht was nach der nächsten Kurve auf einen wartet. Immer schön den Schildern folgen ;-) Fazit: Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub und der Weg wird mit jedem mal normaler zu befahren :-) Gerne kommen wir wieder !!!

Unvergesslicher Aufenthalt

Einzigartig in einem wunderschön gelegenen Landhaus mitten in der Natur; mit unseren Vierbeinern ein wahres Paradies. Wir konnten die nähere Umgebung zu Fuss entdecken, für die übrigen Sehenswürdigkeiten, welche uns unser Gastgeber empfohlen hat, war die längste Etappe mit dem Auto knapp 1 1/2 Sd. entfernt. Ich kann dieses bezaubernde Landhaus nur weiter empfehlen und auch ich kann mir vorstellen, im Can Ros nochmals einen Urlaub zu verbringen. Bea Gerber

Alles war gut. Bis auf das Wetter. Aber das ist halt nicht planbar. Enrique war ein super Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich. Drei Kilometer unbefestigter Weg. Also nicht mit einem tiefergelegtem Fahrzeug anreisen. Und immer über Citella fahren. Nie über Llado. Auch wenn das Navi das vorschlägt. Wir haben damit einen schlecht Erfahrung gemacht.

La casa está ubicada en el campo y ti sientas totalmente aislado, exactamente lo que estábamos buscando. Se puede dar un paseo por los alrededores en la naturaleza, y la casa cuenta con mucho espacio como jardín, que incluye una mesa de ping pong. La chimenea del salón era un lujo por las noches. Lo recomiendo!

An interesting older rural property

The photographs represent the property really well. There is a good view over to the coast from the balcony and the only close house was a couple of hundred metres away and out of sight. . The host was really welcoming and helpful, he suggested a number of interesting places to visit. There was lots of information in the property about the area. Access to the cottage was a fun 10 minute drive from Cistella along narrow dirt roads. A bit of ground clearance on the car is very useful. There was no toaster, oven or kettle but plenty of pans to overcome their absence. As with many older country properties there was a bit of problem with ants, but nothing serious. A very enjoyable few says.

Peaceful house with pool in big garden

We had a lovely week enjoying the terrace with the beautiful view, the garden and the pool. You forget all about the 10 min dirt road if you see this great place.

Heel aangenaam verblijf

Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in deze woning. Onthaal was enorm in orde en bij vragen of dergelijke was Enrique enorm hulpvaardig. De woning is gelegen in het midden van een bos dus een kalmte geen gebrek. In de woning zelf was alles proper en was alles aanwezig. Als enige minpunt vonden wij dat de tweepersoonsbedden wat te hard lagen en wat kraakte. Verder was voor ons alles perfect in orde! Figueres lag op 20min rijden van de woning waar je ook alles aanwezig hebt van winkels etc. We hebben een ontzettend fijne tijd gehad in deze woning. Bedankt aan Enrique! ☺️

Perdu dans la nature, ce endroit permet d'être loin de tout et de se retrouver entre amis. Important à noter, il est nécessaire d'avoir une voiture durant tout le séjour qui est aussi capable rouler sur un chemin en pierre avec des bosses.

Ons vakantie was TOP. Mooie huis met een rustige omgeving. Wij hebben 1 week in het huis gezeten. De kinderen vonden het geweldig. Ze konden vrij spelen en zwemmen. Wij waren met onze drie kinderen. Je komt echt tot rust in deze huis en ook de omgeving is rustgevend. Een mooie huis waar je goed tot rust komt. Lekker slapen je hoort alleen in de ochtend de vogeltjes zachtjes fluiten. De eigenaar is een lieve man en ook de buurman Francesc altijd behulpzaam altijd bereikbaar als je iets nodig hebt of een vraagt wilt stellen. Wij komen zeker terug naar dit huis. Gracias :)
