Very clean and quiet property. Got to see those elk and some deer in the yard too. Comfortable and we had all that we needed. This location was perfect for exploring the Lake Quinault area with several hiking trails very close to us.
This property is exceptional. The owner has thought of everything a traveler could need or want. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the dishes are attractive and of high quality. The home is lovely, unique (lots of interesting nature-themed art), and cozy. The yard is open and pretty, secluded, and has huge, beautiful trees. I will definitely stay here again when visiting the OP.
Beautiful property -and clean and comfortable accommodations! We had a bit of trouble finding it at dusk, but the directions were fine-just hard to match up with what we could see on the road! We were only here for a brief overnight trip, but wished we could have stayed longer! LOVED waking up to see the elk through the morning mist right in front of the cabin! Very magical! We hope to come back some time! Thank you for sharing this place with us!
The house was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Very private with amazing views of the surrounding area. The porch was great to relax and view the area. Would definitely come back!
Really loved having coffee on the porch, admiring the view and listening to the thrushes in the morning. You can hear the Barred owls calling to each other at dusk. We were about to see a couple of them as well. The place had all the amenities were were looking for. Willaby campground had a great day use spot to swim, fish and enjoy a picnic. Appreciated the camping chairs. They were great to have! Thanks!
The cabin is a destination in itself, the property is large with a great view and very close to numerous hikes that were all great for our young children. We really liked the creek and managed to catch a glimpse of one elk one morning. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The dining table is rather small with high seats that may be difficult for children. But the benches on the porch, the camp chairs, and the picnic blankets we brought from home meant that eating was no problem and lots of fun.
Sweet place. Beautiful home. Private yard with surrounding mountain view. Great kitchen. Close to Quinault Lodge and hiking trails. Thank you for sharing this special gem in the rainforest.
Tranquil and cozy place in a wonderful location, just off the beautiful Lake Quinault. We felt welcome and privileged to stay here. Our toddler grandson was fascinated by the kids books and toys he found. Many thanks to our hosts for being so thoughtful in every detail and for this opportunity!
Wonderful stay with excellent amenities; it was a real treat to be on the property and so close to Lake Quinault. I would have liked the online listing to have included the large chore list (ie starting laundry, stripping the beds of linens, taking out the trash) that needed to be done on the day of departure.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know you enjoyed your stay!
We loved all the hikes that are within 10 minutes from the house in Olympic National Forest. There were a few kid toys for the littles and the kitchen was well equipped. The view of the mountains was lovely and we were visited by black tail deer and an elk herd.
