A cozy mountain retreat just 15 minutes from downtown Boone, Chestnut Grove is a charming log cabin with beautiful views, rustic elegance, a hot tub, fire pit, and pool table in the game room and plenty of space for family and friends to relax and explore. Tucked just outside of Boone and within a short drive of Appalachian State University, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and more, this home makes a perfect basecamp for your High Country adventures.

Step inside to find warm wood floors, vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, and a stunning stacked stone fireplace in the living room. Leather seating invites you to gather for movie nights or lazy mornings with coffee. The well-equipped kitchen features granite countertops, a wood-topped island with seating, stainless appliances, and everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals. Step out to the covered deck where you'll find a gas grill, outdoor dining table, and classic Adirondack chairs—perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air and scenic views. Downstairs, the game room is ready for fun with a pool table, comfy seating, a mounted TV, Wii gaming console, and an electric fireplace.

The main floor Primary Suite features a California King bed with a TV and deck access.
A second bedroom upstairs has a Queen bed and a TV. The loft futon also sleep an additional guest.
A third lower level bedroom includes a double bed with a twin trundle

Outside, enjoy a soak in the hot tub or evenings around the fire pit under the stars.

It was our first visit to this part of North Carolina and we absolutely loved it! Boone is such a great little town. The cabin itself is a great location, just minutes down the mountain to civilization! We loved the cabin so much. It was more space than we needed and it's a great layout for families / friends. Each floor had its own bathroom which was really nice although we did not need to use more than the main floor. Our puppies really enjoyed running up and down the sloped path in the front of the house. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back next year! Highly recommend.
