🌿 Peaceful Forest Geo Dome Retreat | A Secluded Escape in the Secret Garden
Find stillness, restore your energy, and reconnect with yourself in this modern, semi-off-grid geodesic dome, tucked away in the tranquil woodlands of our 16-acre homestead—The Secret Garden at Beloved Cabin.
Whether you’re seeking a quiet space to reflect, do yoga, meditate, write, stargaze, or simply unplug from the noise of everyday life, this retreat offers the perfect balance of comfort, charm, and off-grid simplicity. Just a few minutes from the calm waters of Lake Oconee, this is the ideal spot to let nature recharge your body, mind, and spirit.
🛏️ The Space
- Step inside your private 20’ geo dome—a peaceful hideaway designed with warmth and intention. Here’s what you’ll find:
- A cozy antique queen-size bed (so comfy, it may become your favorite part of the stay!)
- Air conditioning for those warmer days
- A propane cooktop, cooler (no fridge), and a small kitchenette area with pots, pans, and utensils
- A luxury camping toilet located inside the dome for convenience
- A water container and basin for cooking, cleaning, and handwashing (we’ll refill it anytime!)
- Fresh linens and towels provided
Outside your dome:
- A private fire pit with seating perfect for relaxing under the stars (please bring firewood or purchase limited quantities onsite)
- A designated spot for yoga or meditation in the open forest clearing
- An outdoor shower is coming soon! In the meantime, you’ll have access to our nearby community house with a hot shower and flush toilet
📵 Note: There is no WiFi in the dome and cell service is spotty (though AT&T tends to work well). This is your time to truly unplug and be present with nature.
🌲 The Property
Our dome is located in the secluded "Secret Garden" section of our 16-acre Beloved Cabin Tiny House Homestead & Stay. The property is filled with forested trails, open spaces for reflection, and a peaceful creek that winds through the woods.
You’ll also have full access to our shared community house, just a short walk away. It includes:
- A fully equipped kitchen with full-sized appliances
- A hot shower and flush toilet
- Cozy lounge and dining area
- Laundry facilities (for longer stays)
🚶♀️ Please note: Vehicles are not allowed beyond the red gate into the Secret Garden. It’s a short walk (2–3 minutes) from the parking area to your dome—please pack light and wear comfy shoes.
🧘♀️ Ideal For:
- Couples seeking a romantic off-grid escape
- Solo travelers craving peace and privacy
- Yoga or meditation enthusiasts needing space to stretch and breathe
- Artists, writers, and thinkers looking for creative inspiration
- Anyone longing for a digital detox and time in nature
