Beautiful Riverfront Getaway in the Cascade Mountains

I will be sad to see October go. It has been an exceptional month what with all the Fall colors and such. It is always encouraging to hear that guests wish to return. You will be welcomed back. Thanks for staying with us and leaving the cabin so nice.

Sorry to hear you found the mattress uncomfortable and was the foremost thing that you took away from your stay with us. It is the premium flagship Saatva mattress and the same mattress that we sleep on in our own home. Like so many things, a mattress is chosen by personal preference. After all, we spend a third of our lives in bed. Other guests have commented they enjoyed it so much they have asked me what brand and model it is so they could purchase one for their own use. What brings one person to comment that it was the best sleep they have ever had will prompt another, like yourself, to comment on their discomfort. I hope most folks land in the middle. It is always my endeavor that my guests have nothing but a positive experience when staying at A Cabin On The Sky and judging by the number of repeat guests and 5 star reviews I receive, I am satisfying most folks. I moved into the cabin 50 years ago and because of the lack of rain, and a weak snowpack last winter, 2026 has the lowest volume of water flowing I have ever seen.
