Nice Stay but Extremely Humid

We had a wonderful time staying at the property so close to the beach The condo matched the description however, it was extremely humid. A dehumidifier was provided but it needed to be emptied twice a day. We look forward to returning when not so hot and humid.

The third floor balcony view of the beach was exceptional. The turqoise chairs are very comfortable! The beach is beautiful! The beach decor was very beautiful and professionally done. The King size bed was beyond comfortable and that was great. We cooked and ate in the condo. The kitchen is easy to use. The beautiful tile shower and very hot water were a joy!

Property was fantastic. Owners were very responsive if there were any issues. It was clean, tidy, and close to the beach. The only thing that we didn’t like was that we could never get a parking spot close to the condo… they were always taken up by other people, and a lot of people without parking passes. We did see 1 car on the day we were leaving finally get a warning, but other than that, nothing was ever done about it. Not a reason we wouldn’t go back, just very frustrating having to park by the other building and walk back to the condo.

Didnt expect perfect, but communication was awful at this rental. I contacted VRBO and whoever was in charge about headcount and didnt receive a response weeks after my request. When i did receive a response, i never heard from them ever again. Toilet seat broken, stove top cracked, dining chair cushion falls off, and the bathroom smelled like mildew. We honestly left after the first day.

Great north end location on the beach!

Great location by the north end of the island, across the street from the turtle rescue center, the birding center and the nature trail by the convention center. In the summer the fireworks display on Thursday and Friday nights is right by the condo. Condo is comfortable and provides sleeping for 5 if someone sleeps on the couch and the kitchen is adequate for everyone. Read some complaints about the mattress in the bedroom but I was perfectly comfortable and it was fine with me. The owners provide kitchen utensils, ice trays, dishes, glasses and cups. Everything you need in the kitchen is there and they provide a Keurig coffee maker. Bring, sugar and creamer for your coffee. There is liquid hand soap provided in the kitchen and bathroom but no other toiletries that I could find. Having some sort of bath soap/body wash would be a nice touch. Check in at the office was easy to get the parking pass and the location of the condo right on Padre Blvd is easy in and out. Because the island is not too long, it's no big deal to drive to restaurants, shops, clubs, etc. I saw a yellow island bus around the area so there is transportation available. There is a private gate to the beach and a faucet to rinse off. You can also access the beach by a public drive at the end of the parking lot. I liked the location and the fact that this condo complex buildings are only 3 stories tall. There are no elevators however. The owners sent an e-mail with good suggestions for restaurants and things to do while visiting and I thought that was a nice touch. I would return to this condo unit in the future and as it is very nicely decorated it makes for a pleasant stay.

Great Winter Get-a-way!

We had a wonderful stay at the SPI Beachfront Condo! The weather was basically 75 & sunny all week. The location is very accessible to the beach and convenient to get to the pool as well. Walking distance to visit Sea Turtle Inc along with the Birding & Nature Center. There was enough room in the condo for the 2 of us to get along fine. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

The condo was exactly as stated, check in was easy. Very clean, nicely decorated, super comfortable bed, even has a dehumidifier which is a big plus! The balconies looked out on the beach which was steps from the condo. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this roomy, pet friendly condo with a spectacular ocean view! It was a quick walk to beach with fun beach bars close by. The condo was clean, well stocked and quiet. Luved the balcony that stretched from the bedroom to the living room. We will be back for sure!

Wow, what a wonderful condo! The bed was dreamy, the shower was spectacular! Balcony was a fabulous view! We cooked in the stocked up kitchen to all of our needs. It was a wonderful visit. Down side was not nearly enough towels, toilet paper or trash bags!

A last minute booking to South Padre. Friends already had a place to stay at the Tiki and the only one left online was this beautiful condo with a balcony view of the ocean. Our friends were jealous of how cute and updated our condo was. The condo was clean spacious one bedroom. We will definitely chose this unit again. The owners were in constant communication with us. Pick this unit and you will not be disappointed

Perfect beach condo

We came with our two children, ages 7 & 10. The location was perfect with a great balcony view. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and relax. The Tiki pools are very nice as well, and close to the condo. The beach was great and took 2 minutes from the condo. We will be back!

Great stay at SPI

So greatful I found a last minute booking for this charming beachy condo. During the time of pandemic it was reassuring to locate a unit with exterior stairwell access and a large balcony with a great ocean view. Up three floors, the balcony is relatively private- I spend hours out there every day enjoying the breezes and ate every meal outside. The unit was very clean- the Tiki complex management does a great job with the property. I also appreciate the amenties- initial stocking of paper products, dish & hand soap, sponges, linens, etc. The kitchen was fully equipped, plenty of small appliances, cutlery, etc. for cooking. Ice already in the trays! Lighting is ok for an older unit, A/C and ceiling fan worked well. I think it was a good value for the price. Excellent access to beach- either through complex gate or using public beach access from parking.
