This unique studio space has been re-imagined to balance the magic of the past with modern amenities, including eclectic furnishings and decor, original architecture details, contrasting textures, and an outdoor dining area. All linens provided along with K-cup coffee maker and coffee. This is a LEGAL listing. We have been granted an exception by the city to operate as a short term rental. This property is not suitable for children..*****Important!***** Early checkin and late checkout can not be accommodated.

This home was perfect, it was in a great location and everything in the listing was accurate. We were able to park our car for the weekend in the parking garage and then walk everywhere we planned to go. There was a target and cvs within walking distance for items and food. Restaurants and shopping were right outside as well. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the studio! Very comfortable & great location! The only thing that could be improved is more hot water & water pressure. We'd stay here again.

I really wish you had let us know about the water pressure! We have very hard water in Charleston and sometimes the shower head gets clogged with calcium deposits. I could have fixed it for you! However, glad y'all had a good time in Charleston and enjoyed the loft! Hope to see y'all again!

Perfect for Downtown Charleston Visitors

This was our first time to charleston and the perfect spot! You are right smack dab in the middle of all the shopping and have easy access by foot to where you want to go. It's above a really well known store worth visiting and has plenty of space for two people. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Charleston that's not a hotel!

Great downtown Charleston location

This was a great stay. Right on King street, close to all the activities but still private and quiet enough. Very clean and probably the best stocked with supplies VRBO we've stayed at. Perfect for a couple. Walkable to everything including the aquarium and the Fort Sumter ferry. Do yourself a favor and don't rent a car. Much better to walk and Uber everywhere.

Perfection

Location of this rental is very convenient and is right in the middle of King street surrounded by shops and restaurants. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted. Parking is in a garage about a block away. We absolutely loved the historic charm of this rental! It had everything we needed and more! Ashley was very helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

John never complained about the apartment being musty. My only guess is that because we fog the apartment after every checkout with a sanitizing solution (For COVID-19), it gave an odor that he didn’t like. Unfortunately, he never gave us a chance to correct the problem.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay in Charleston very much! The location of this studio apartment is within walking distance to everything. We also loved the decorating and the bed was very comfortable. There was a noticeable musty smell within the apartment and on our last morning the water pressure in the shower was not very good. The thing that surprised me the most was that there were no toiletries. We use VRBO quite frequently and this is the first place where we had to go around the corner to Walgreen's to purchase shampoo, conditioner and soap. I would think these would be provided, as even low-end hotels make these items readily available.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We do not advertise that we provide toiletries, as we are not a hotel. However, in the furture we will provide bar soap. The water pressure in Charleston is not the greatest. For this reason, we had a pump installed to take care of the problem. If it was still a problem, we wished you would have said something. We also have very hard water in Charleston and all that needed to be done was to clean out the deposits of the shower head. The “musty” smell complaint is a first. We have had our vrbo for 4 years and have not had that complaint. We will look into it.

Great location

This was a wonderful property in the middle of Charleston within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see. We didn’t need to rent a car and between walking, the DASH bus system and Uber we got everywhere we wanted to go.

Perfect Getaway

The Perfect Stay

This property was everything and more! It is in the perfect location to be able to walk to all of the shops, restaurants, market and harbor. It was stocked with everything you could need, even beach towels that we used for a day trip to Folly Beach. Clean and well-kept with a comfy bed! The owners are very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone looking and would rent here again next time we return!
