This house, location and lake exceeded our expectations. We all loved swimming off the end of the dock in cool, clean water. The canoe and kayaks were perfect for our teenage grandkids and us. The screened porch was a highlight of the house. The kitchen was well stocked. We’ve found the owner to be quite responsive to our questions and comments. We all intend to return. CP.

Parker Pond is one of the prettiest New England lakes, and this lovely cabin in the woods is wonderfully situated. Facing south, with a consistent breeze off the lake, especially in the afternoon, the screen porch is tremendous. We did not need to use the air conditioners all week. The dock is excellent with full sun until about 2pm each day.The kitchen was well stocked for all of our meal prep needs. With both a large dining room table and a good size kitchen table, we were able to devote one surface exclusively to puzzles, and that is how we spent most evenings as a family. The bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate and they are well represented in the pictures. This is a rustic cabin in the woods and if you need high end amenities and appliances, it might not be right for you. But if you are looking for a quiet and comfortable place, where you can walk dogs for miles on country roads without seeing more than a few cars, if you like paddling on crystal clear water among loons and eagles (with very few power boats), exploring small islands and gathering wild blueberries, if this is your wheelhouse, then Breault Cove might be perfect for you. The inception, vision and history of the home is also quite remarkable. Briefly detailed in a photo album at the house, Debra’s parents were incredibly talented, tenacious and, I suspect, about as tough as they come. 45 minutes from Augusta, and 30 minutes from Farmington - this remote and peaceful cabin is an absolute gem.

It was an amazing property beautiful and well maintained on the inside. There was quite a few spiders outside on the various surfaces of the house. If you’re going to stay here you should know that shampoo conditioner and body wash is not provided. Additionally this property is extremely remote so you need to drive 30-40 minutes to a very small grocery store. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I think the price is a bit steep for what it is. I still maintain though that this is a beautiful property perfect for staying in and on the lake with the entire family.
