We had the best time at the Gingerbread Cottage! It was even bigger in person than we expected, and it had everything we could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we especially loved the outdoor patio. The location was perfect, with easy access to both Carmel and Monterey. We had such a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic cottage in Carmel! I was here for a week for work and it was the perfect place for a home base. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to make my own meals. Easy walk into downtown Carmel and access to 17-mile drive without the typical lines. Outside seating area was very nice and all the comforts of your own home inside.

The cottage was perfect for our trip. Great location to go into town in Carmel or Monterey. Kitchen well equipped, beds and bath as advertised. It was a little cool for our trip or we would have made use of the cute patio. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gingerbread Cottage. The charming exterior truly lives up to the name and fits perfectly with the Carmel atmosphere. Inside, the cottage was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The modern kitchen had everything needed to cook great meals, which made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. A lovely place to unwind and feel at home.

We visited my son who is at stationed in Monterey, and fell in love with the house and area! It’s close to everything we wanted to do, including 17-mile drive, Point Lobos, and Carmel beach. Gorgeous location with plenty of sunlight and beautiful, blooming plants on the patio. They truly provided everything we needed. I’m already looking into booking later this year to visit again.

Great place to spend a few days in Carmel. Bob's "cottage" was well equipped - it had pretty much everything we needed. It was very quiet and a short drive to Carmel city center. We enjoyed our time there very much.

Cozy Get away
