Sunrise Cabin - Breathtaking Sunrises & Relaxing Sunsets

The Sunrise Cabin is fully furnished with 2 queen beds, all kitchen utensils, appliances, and linens. A full-sized washer and dryer and a dishwasher provide guests with all the comforts of home. All you need to bring are groceries, and if you would like to use the BBQ grill, charcoal and lighter fluid. The interior of the cabin is designed to make guests feel relaxed and comfortable. From the back deck, you can enjoy the astonishing views of the rolling hills, river, and fields below. The nearby pond holds some of the largest bullfrogs you will ever see and plenty of fish for you to catch. A picnic table, fire ring, and horseshoe pits are in the shade next to the cabin for guests to enjoy with family and friends.

You will not be disappointed with your stay at Sunrise Cabin! It was absolutely beautiful!! Tracey was so very easy to communicate with and she answered very quickly! They have everything you need and the horses make the stay so comfortable. I would DEFINITELY recommend the Sunrise Cabin!

We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary - 2 of us. Back porch was our favorite - stunning views, intriguing to watch an active farm at work making hay bales in the fields with a team of tractors, freeing to watch the birds flying as a pack high in the sky, peaceful to watch the horses grazing in the areas around the cabin. There was one rainy day during our stay, and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch reading & playing cards while listening to the gentle sound of the rain all around. I did yoga in grass next to the cabin & down by the river access many times. We packed our lunch & drinks for leisurely swimming & lounging at the river access one day and took it up a notch with the 5 mile route with 2 kayaks another day. It was comforting to come back to the cabin in the evenings after being out in nature all day to unwind - grill meat for dinner, brought our own DVD player to watch movies, dip in the hot tub. Tracey & her family are welcoming & we enjoyed chatting with Tracey on the way to the 5 mile kayak drop. Bring cash for the extra floating fees. We would love to return to stay in this cabin or check out some of their other options on the property with 4J Vacation Rentals - it was all so wonderful!

I was raised here on the farm where the cabin is located. My husband and I have lived here since 1991. We both went to the local Steelville School and love our home town. It is a true joy to be able to share this beautiful land with our guests.

Why they chose this property

The farm was originally owned by my great-grandfather. My grandfather was born in the original farmhouse, and my mother and her twin sister, as well as me and my daughter, have all grown up here on the farm.

What makes this property unique

This cabin is our way of letting other people enjoy and experience the piece of heaven that we have been so blessed to have grown up with. It is truly a spiritual feeling to wake up and see the misty morning sunrises. The peace and serenity that you will find here is priceless in today's world.
