Amazing property with great hosts. The Schoolhouse is masterfully remodeled into a beautiful house minutes from Rickets Glen trailheads. The whole family loved it.

They did a wonderful job, remodeling the school house into a beautiful little home, it was comfortable, it was quiet, in the woodwork was incredible. I would definitely come and stay again if I was in the area.

Loved this unusual lodging. A renovated tiny schoolhouse-so cool. Even the chalk board was still there. What an extraordinary feature wall. (Yes chalk is included.) It was a perfect location for our trip. We enjoyed sitting on back porch in evening listening to and watching birds, watching the chickens forage, and sipping coffee. All of the custom wood work and furniture made by the host is beautiful. The host was very responsive to our asks and welcoming.

I’ve stayed at a lot of property’s for vacation and this might be one of my favorites! We were very close to Ricketts Glen which is why we booked the property- so we could hike. All the furniture was super comfortable and we loved playing Pictionary on the chalkboard at night. All the woodwork was beautiful and we even bought a cutting board! There was actually a ton of room inside the school house for the 4 of us. Highly recommend!
