Spring Break Family Getaway

We loved this Sea Vista Condo. The location is ideal as it’s right by the boardwalk to the beach. The condo was clean and very comfortable. Our children had plenty of room as did we. Spring break was quiet in this location - it was great.

SPI Getaway

We wanted a quick weekend stay at the island with our kids before the start of the school year and this was the perfect trip. The condo is well stocked and very clean. The location is excellent and access to the beach is amazing! Just out the patio door, and within a minute you’re on the sand. Ed and Betty were excellent hosts!

Great condo to stay at. Owners are fantastic to rent from. Very quick to respond to any questions. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It felt like home! Staff is fantastic as well. Very helpful. Loved our stay.

Great vacation spot!

This location was the best I’ve experienced through years of visiting the island. The views were perfect and the facility was superb. Ed was easy to get ahold of at all times. I went with a group of women but would take my kids any time.

Perfect location and setup for family vacation

This property was perfect for us. We traveled to SPI with our 4 kids for our wedding. We also had family from other cities and states visiting. This condo was the perfect home base. Plenty of space and seating and a nice green space off the back patio for kids to run around (which is why we chose this one). Easy access to the beach made it easy to run back and grab stuff or go to th bathroom so you didn't have to haul everything down. And the pool was right there too.

Great location to the beach

This place supplied all our needs and offered a great relaxing getaway for our family. Owners thought intentionally about hospitality for their guests. Any questions we had were answered promptly. May want to make a notation you no longer have a coffee grinder. The tar on the beach was an unexpected pain but the condo offered towelettes that took it off your feet pretty easily. Next time would bring clothes and shoes we wouldn’t mind possibly getting stained due to the tar balls washing up on the beach.

Second stay

Location is great, though in high season you will have a steady stream of people going to the boardwalk in your view. On 2 evening residents up wind smoked us out with their grills.. This unlit does not have the grill listed in the amenities. Living room shade was missing the draw cord allowing in lots of morning sun. My husband , an engineer, rigged it up to be functional after a couple of days.. On the up side, plenty of lawn room for kids to play, space for group sitting, as the balconies are very small on the higher floors. The beach chairs and toys were great, no need to pack beach towels, nice spice supply in kitchen. You will need to purchase ice as the ice maker is not very efficient, though the fridge is nice and cold. We have stayed at Sea Vista for the last several years, even in this unit prior to its current look. Yes, I would book again, but likely not in prime season..

Fantastic location and accommodations!! Beach access does not compare and because you are on the south end of the island you don’t have as much resort crowding on the beach!!

Excellent stay in South Padre

I stayed here with my family for 6 days over the 4yh of July weekend. The property was amazing and my kids really enjoyed the pool, and how easy it was to get to the beach. The kitchen was the MOST well stocked kitchen I've ever had while travelling. It was a great little place

So I normally give good reviews about places but this place was the best place I’ve been to. whoever is reading this review and is debating in staying in this property it’s a must to stay . This will be my to go place to stay when I need to stay out at the island . Best service beautiful view out of a 10 I’ll give it a 20

We've stayed in many properties throughout the years but Sea Vista is simply one of the finest properties on the island. Sea Vista is owned by private owners so your stay is usually quiet and free from the masses that do not crowd our private beach. Management is attentive to your every need and all you have to do is ask if you need something.

What makes this property unique

22 steps to the beach and directly on the ground floor. No elevators, corridors or lengthy walks will keep you from the beach. You will literally walk onto your lawn and patio directly from the beach. Gorgeously decorated and fully appointed with a full kitchen and bedding that ensure you will have a restful stay. Sea Vista is closest to the action, yet super-quiet without the crowds. Schlitterbaun water park is within walking distance as is two private tennis courts and pools. Maximum occupancy 8 persons, 2 automobiles.
