Awesome vacation. A must do!

We had a long weekend at this wonderful home. The house is set up awesome for a family with 2 master suites. We enjoyed the clean hot tub, pool table, foose ball and most definitely the views. You can not beat these views. Absolutely breathtaking. This home is well stocked and well taken care of. You do not want to miss vacationing at this amazing home. Thank you to the owners for sharing your home with us. We would highly recommend! The description is definitely correct in saying you need a 4 wheel drive getting there but it’s definitely worth it.

The house was cozy and well-appointed. The views are spectacular from every single window and door! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our week in the mountains. The house was really nice and the views can't be beat. We loved watching the fog and mist rise through the mountains each morning. The house had everything we needed and was well located for our excursions to GSM National Park and Asheville, North Carolina.

High up!!!!

Always wanted to stay high up in the Smokey Mountains and this property definitely was there!!!! Awesome views both in rainy and sunny conditions!!! Great for working the glutes walking the hills...Great place! Great location!

Beautiful private home and spectacular views. 50 minutes from Asheville. Well worth the drive up the mountain. Hosts were great! Would and will stay again!

Couldn't Have Been Better

I have stayed at and/or researched quite a few places in the NC mountains over the years, and this was among the very best. The location, the seclusion, the view, the condition of the property, and the service from the owners - all were top rate. I would easily stay there again.

Secluded with a Gorgeous View

We had a wonderful time during the unseasonably mild weather. The cabin had everything we needed with plenty of privacy and a wonderful view from the deck, the house and the hot tub. We'd stay there again in the future for sure.

Great stay! The house looked the same in person as in the pictures. Views are breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jennifer was very responsive and had plenty of suggestions and detailed instructions that made our visit seamless.

Fabulous!

Beautiful cabin with a perfect view, everything is so tasteful and well done! We had a lovely girls getaway weekend here enjoying the fire pit and of course and rocking chairs- it was so relaxing and we hope to visit again soon.

Wonderful place!

It's high up in the mountains, it's secluded and quiet, it has a beautiful view and it's comfortable and homey. It's everything we had hoped for when searching for a place in the mountains for a getaway. Our hosts were very responsive, check in was easy and the welcome treat bag was a nice addition. Thank you!

Perfect Mountain Getaway for the Holidays

We (two couples) spent a week at the cabin over the holidays. We loved the cozy fire and country style interior. With a great game room, comfy beds, lots of pillows, good sized kitchen, great hot water and views to die for it was the perfect holiday getaway. While isolated, it was exactly what we wanted. Loved it.

Beautiful property! Words cannot describe how gorgeous the views are here! The house has all the creature comforts and luxury amenities that anyone needs or wants! I will definitely be coming back !!

Gorgeous views, great location

We really enjoyed our recent stay here. The cabin was very clean and well outfitted. The owners even left us a gift of s'mores ingredients, which the kids loved. Location was convenient to I-40 while feeling like we were away from it all. The layout worked well for our multigenerational group: with the bunk room and a bedroom downstairs, we could be close to the kids, while my in-laws had the bedroom on the main level--no stairs! Overall, we had a great time here and would highly recommend this cabin.

Peaceful Spring Break

We had a wonderful time! Even had an unexpected day of snowfall. Picturesque location, lovely views, lots of fun games for the kids. Adults enjoyed the pool table, fire pit, & hot tub. Well appointed kitchen. Very remote area, definitely need 4wd to get to the house. Perfect place for our group.

Great Vacation Spot

Fantastic property with great amenities and views that go on forever. We were blown away by the cabin and the atmosphere. It was all that we hoped for and more. While being close to necessities, the location felt like we were secluded and that was accentuated by the unbelievable number of stars visible in the night skies. The owners were gracious and easy to work with and this is the best rental we have ever done. We enjoyed it immensely and will be back. We heartily recommend it as the ultimate mountain getaway.

Very nice place.

Cabin was very nice, finally a hot tub that's actually hot!!! We loved the furniture and decor of this cabin. Beds are so comfy. Unfortunately rained the entire time we were here and didn't get to see the view once due to thick fog. Oh well what can you do, gives us time to come back then. Only negative thing was toilet downstairs didn't flush unless you took the lid off and do it manually. Housekeeping could have been a little better, no sheets on bunk beds and coffee pot hadn't been cleaned in some time. We however did not let this stop us from enjoying this lovely place.

Phenomenal Views!

Pictures cannot capture the true beauty of the views here, in all directions! We had wanted to get away from the city for vacation and this was the perfect place. Our family spent a lot of time outside, enjoying the views, sitting by the firepit at night and relaxing in the hot tub. Our daughters really enjoyed the loft area, playing pool and foosball. We were able to walk along the serene roads around the cabin, taking in even more views as well as getting a bit of exercise. We spent some time down in Waynesville which has a lovely downtown and we had our picks of hiking trails within a 30 minute drive radius. So many to choose from, all at different levels so something for everyone. Jennifer was a perfect host and very responsive to any questions we had. Oh and the beds were SO comfortable for sleeping. We would absolutely come back again!!

Disaster trip..

Wasn't clean when we arrived, lady was nice but never tried making it right. Heat couldn't keep up & it was very cold at night. They offered to get a heat guy to come but everyone was busy. We didn't want to deal with all this on our vacation as it is a vacation & I expect clean nice place for the money we paid here. Then there was a mouse that kept us up. My mother left at this point. Then u had to take all trash up another mountain to the land filled & strip beds & turn the water off outside before we left. Cleaned the place up washed towels also. It was a lot to deal with on vacation. And the Biltmore & Ashville were an hour away! The listing makes it seem close! I'm not sure VRBO is a place I'll look on next trip. & we travel 12 times a year...

True to the photos - Great View!

As advertised - fantastic views. Perfect place to get away! Sitting on the deck at sunset is priceless. Good: Fast, easy & friendly lease process. Nice clean furniture. Satellite TV w NFL package! Outdoor fireplace is da bomb. Once you get it doing the configuration just kicks the fire into high gear. (p.s. bring smores). Bring firewood! Kitchen appliances and utensils well stocked. No hidden tricks or fees. Everything in working order. Indoor gas fireplace is nice. Bed in lower master is a wonderful large pillow - nice. The hot tub is nice but the lights don't work. Instructions would have been nice as well. We leave a book in the house for our rental house to explain how everything works. Waynesville is a short trip away. It's an excellent small town that has some nice restaurants. We had 2 excellent dinners in town. So-So: The road up to the house is 15 minutes of a dusty gravel road. It's bumpy. That and given the house is remote do your grocery (read: alcohol) shopping early - ain't no Domino's coming to this house. Noise carries in this house so be prepared if you have kids staying next to the master suite. The grill has been abused by some guests and was covered with crap. Be prepared to clean it before cooking. The trash situation is kinda messed up. The county trash drop location is closed certain days so if you're leaving on a day that it's closed you have to find someplace else to drop the trash or pay a fee.

Gorgeous views, nice amenities

This property had everything we could have wanted for a week in the Smokies. The views off the deck are spectacular. It is stocked with everything you could need for cooking meals. Plenty of split firewood waiting for us. Pool table and foosball provided downtime entertainment. Our family had an absolute blast using this place as our home base while exploring the Asheville area hiking trails. We'll definitely keep this property near the top of the list for a return trip in the future.

Great Fall trip

Wonderful experience and stay in the mountains without a doubt a spectacular view unparalleled to anything I have stayed We Ryan took multiple day trips to Asheville which is also a great time The cabin was as described very comfortable and well appointed the only catch is getting there lol it is a little daunting but well worth the trip
