About this property

Stunning Thatched Cottage on Wild Atlantic Way

Fully-equipped with all modern comforts but is decorated in traditional old world style. Mature gardens surround the cottage. Green fields extend down the valley and out to the Atlantic Ocean.

Rose cottage was constructed fifteen years ago. It was originally the house where my great grandmother was born, along with 13 other siblings. Located in a peaceful country setting at the edge of the Burren close to the famous villages of Doolin and Lisdoonvarna in Co. Clare, Rose Cottage is perfectly situated for you to explore the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Burren and beautiful west coast of Ireland.

It has a modern fully-equipped kitchen, with an gas hob and electric cooker, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, cafetière, washer / dryer, dishwasher and fridge-freezer.

Holiday getaway in idyllic cottage in a beautiful valley in the Burren
My husband and I and our 2 teenage children spent a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing week at Rose cottage. Anna made access to the cottage very convenient and we were welcomed warmly with a lovely basket of wine and goodies aswell as essentials in the fridge that made our late arrival hassle free. This was the best stocked holiday rental I have ever stayed in. The showers were great, the beds super comfy, really nice outdoor seating and lighting, the most beautiful old roses whose scent filled the summer evening air and friendly, tolerant bovine neighbours. This cottage is well placed for exploring the Burren, beaches and towns of North Clare. We loved it, couldn’t recommend Rose Cottage enough, the photographs don’t do it justice!

Perfektes Haus, sehr ruhige Lage
