It was a unique experience staying on the vintage yacht and we recommend it! Good access to all things UT and the river front, we will certainly plan another trip there!
I enjoyed this unique stay! Excellent location, convenient walk to Neyland Stadium, and in a safe area with restaurants nearby. I loved being right on the river with stunning views and the opportunity to see some nearby wildlife from the dock. The yacht was cute, clean, comfortable, and functional - very steady and hardly any rocking from waves. The host was friendly, communicative, and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!
The property owner was in constant communication both before and during our stay. We wanted to experience houseboat living and were not disappointed! The owner went above and beyond in terms of having some refreshments and an exceptionally clean boat. Even in the heat of summer, we enjoyed sitting on the stern with morning coffee and the bow for evening drinks. Everything was in great working order and the check in and check out process were very accommodating.I have stayed in many VRBO locations over the years, but I have to say that this was the best experience we had with the owners based on how well appointed the boathouse was. Exceeded expectations!
Excellent location and the host property was extremely well maintained and perfectly communicated with all my questions. Will book this ship again! Thank you and Respectfully, CN
We loved this unique experience. The vintage yacht is very clean.. The host has everything you would ever need for your stay.. All you will need to bring is your clothes. The host provides more than you would get from a hotel.. It is a bit of a walk from the parking but we enjoyed the walk and the parking was free which is not the case anywhere else in the city.. We will definitely do this again..
The yacht was awesome for me and my sons. We had a great time fishing, hanging out on the deck enjoying the views, and playing board games. The kitchen had just enough of all the essentials and the beds were comfortable. Snacks and coffee were a nice touch too! Location to access UT is very convenient. The walk to F dock is a bit lengthy and the shower is a pretty tight fit, but it added to the adventure and we had a few good laughs along the way! No complaints!! Lauren was a fantastic host and a great communicator too. Thank you!! We'd come back for another stay on the yacht!
Lauren was a great host. Super communicative and more than willing to assist us in the event that there was no parking. Just a heads up for big gameday weekends - parking was not available in the Ruth Chris paid spots and the marina lot was full. This left us scrambling to find parking for an already busy/full gameday weekend. While this probably wasn’t a normal weekend, just plan for backup parking in case it happens again. Both Lauren and her husband were great in trying to help us find alternatives. Be prepared to walk and pack light. Otherwise a very fun and unique stay. Would come back!
