This home is older and the pictures do not depict the property accurately. Back yard is very junky and has spare tires along the fence. The grass was waist high in some areas and we could not utilize. We found nails and other objects. The entire yard, front and back, had not been mowed in a long time! There is only 1 TV in the home- no TV’s in bedrooms. There were ants in the kitchen. Property is not well maintained. I was disappointed in the home condition.I did contact the host to let them know about the ants and the condition of the yard. They were responsive to my message and just thanked me for letting them know. I did tell them not to worry about correcting since we were leaving the following day.

The Knoxville Charm was far from an oasis. The home was located in a fantastic location- it was about 7 minutes from downtown and Neyland Stadium. The beds were comfy, but I bleached everything I took as soon as I returned home. The home was dirty, with holes in the walls, all cabinets were falling of the hinges, and it felt like a rush job done on an abandoned home. The “home gym” was a tread mill behind the couch complimented with a forgotten high-heel shoe. On day three of our six day trip, the power was shut off for non-payment; that ordeal cost me over an hour on the phone with VRBO and no power for over three hours. We wanted to leave, but with the Bassmaster Classic in town, there were limited options for the eight of us. Look elsewhere friends.

There was no lead up communication from the host. I had to contact the host the day of to get check-in instructions. I received check-in information only after I cited VRBO policy. The home itself was fine. It needs quite a bit of TLC to reach five star level. But if the host chooses not to communicate simple details such as check-in information, it will not reach 5 star levels.

Hi Ryan, sorry about that, Verbo normally sends out the check in and out information 5 days before check in. I was on a trip and thought they sent it but for some reasons looks like they did not send it to you. Thats where things got messed up. Thank you for understanding and truly appreciate your feedback.
