Welcoming & updated Lakefront cabin with AC in Turtle Lake - 2 bedrooms

This 2-bedroom Lakefront cabin has recently been updated. Guests can relax, unwind, and explore outdoor activities. The lakehouse is located on Upper Turtle Lake with lovely views. Convenient to HWY 8, Turtle Lake, St Croix Casino, and many outdoor activities. (ATV trails, fishing, boating).

NOTE for SUMMER BOOKINGS (May 22nd thru mid September) - We have a one week policy - with check in/out on Fridays. This allows our guests to have a full weekend, and relax for the week. we recently added a new washer/dryer, toaster oven, & propane 4 burner BBQ.

The main bedroom offers a full size bed, dresser, and TV with streaming ability. The second bedroom has 2 Twin beds and a dresser. New Central heat and AC system added in 2024. Indoor washer & dryer. Kitchen with new appliances, sink, propane cooktop/oven & dishwasher. Large family room with vaulted ceiling and skylights, fireplace, TV for streaming, and a cozy chaise couch with sofa sleeper (full size). Lots of cozy spots to relax and enjoy the view. Remodeled bathroom with shower. Second 1/2 bathroom. New laminate hardwood flooring. Wood plank ceilings in bedrooms & kitchen. Deck in back facing the lake. Steps down to lake with a dock. Yard space for outdoor enjoyment. Detached garage with auto opener & room for a car. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place. We do not accept pets at this cabin. Young children welcome - however, be aware this is a lake front property with steps and steep bank to lake - not ideal for all. There is a nice flat grass area for play/relaxing.
**Reservations during summer season - from May 22nd (Friday) to September 11 (Friday) will require a one week stay, with a Friday check in on all reservations (check in Friday, checkout Friday)

We had a great time. The cabin was very clean, comfortable beds, cozy living space. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The use of the garage was a huge plus during our winter stay. Would definitely book this cabin again.

The house was very clean! We loved the choice of colors and decor throughout the cabin. The host responded very quicky to any messages. Check out was super easy and we were not given a long list of things to do before leaving (I even asked the host for one). The only things I think could improve was the bed was really firm. A memory foam topper could be really useful. Also there wasn't any seasonings or cooking spray. Even just salt and pepper would have been nice. Overall it was a really nice and relaxing stay. Perfect place for a weekend get away.

Thank you for your review and suggestions. We just added new mattresses, and these are Serta Medium Eurotop mattresses in the bedrooms, with padded mattress toppers. We aimed for a medium feel to try to please both soft and firm sleeping preferences. We will consider a removable memory foam pad for guests that may want additional cushioning. While our county tourist housing permit doesn't allow us to leave any open food or condiments behind after each stay, it made us think to provide one time use samples for the salt, pepper & oil, so we have ordered those for future guests. Thank you for leaving the home nice and clean, and for your suggestions to help improve future guest experiences. We hope to have you as guests again.

We grew up in the area, and still have lots of family here. We like the laid back atmosphere, the fishing, the trails and lots of local attractions - fairs, wine tasting, hiking, boating. We like the slow pace and relaxing atmosphere.

Why they chose this property

We love the large pine trees, the elevated view of the lake, the deep water off the dock, the close proximity to the boat landing and ATV trails, and the kind neighbors. We decided this was the spot for us.

What makes this property unique

Elevated views of the lake, calm quiet layout, ease of trail and lake access - views and flat areas to play and walk and gather. We enjoy the garage and the access to outdoor activities.
