The house was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. The owner was more than gracious, very informative and a pleasure to deal with . I would highly recommend this house for any family, or groups to stay at. We spent most of our time on the beautiful porch!! Beds were VERY comfortable!!

Great family environment

Wonderful place to stay with a large group. Ann is an amazing host and committed to making your stay memorable. House is in a great location right in main street and has something for everyone from small kids to adults.

Lovely house in a perfect location

The location of the house couldn’t me more ideal to explore Main Street. Ann was courteous, thorough, and extremely responsive during the lead-up to the stay and during check-in.

Ann is a wonderful host. Very attentive and available for any questions. Our large family stayed in this house for a holiday weekend and it was superb. There’s enough space to be together and play games, and be comfortable. The house is historic and the location cannot be beat. We love to cook and we were impressed with the well-appointed kitchen (and super sharp knives!)

The Pink Bathroom is gone! It wasn’t dirty, it just needed some love. Pinky, along with the retro yellow bathroom on the top floor have both been completely gutted and remodeled. They are now beautiful, and brand new. We hope this guests comes back. We have offered them a returning discount.

Never Disappoints

I have stayed at this house a few times now and as titled it never disappoints. Great location and plenty of room for everyone. Had some nice weather and really got to enjoy the porch during our stay.

Beautiful historic property in a great location. Could use some updating And we wish all the bathrooms had showers but overall in good shape.

There are 3 full bathrooms and 1 1/2 bathroom All 3 bathrooms have showers. The house is a classic Adirondack Mansion with an elevator. It is over 100 years old and has been updated with a new kitchen, new appliances new bathrooms and new fireplaces.

Great Spot In Lake Placid NY

Very nice older home home in walking distance to many downtown Lake Placid attractions. The home is very spacious, and the owner shared the history of the home, which was interesting. Overall, our group was very satisfied with the accommodations, and we will definitely consider staying here again.

Great location

Hard to ask for a better location. House was clean upon arrival. Recommend brining your own Fire Stick/Apple TV as the TVs are not smart TVs.

Another perfect weekend with friends

We had another great stay at the Mansion. The house has 7 bedrooms and many many different areas to gather or to relax quietly - I including the front porch and the hot tub. The location in the center of town is super-convenient. We’ll be back!

Stunning Property, Wonderful Property Manager

We rented this home for our wedding party to have a get away weekend. The home was beyond our expectations and made the most beautiful backdrop for our murder mystery dinner party. We had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed getting to know the owner of the property. I couldn’t say enough great things about the experience.
