The Little Luxe Hideaway - Slow Living Vibe walk to the beach!

This little coastal eco retreat is newly renovated and is the perfect escape for couples, families and friends wanting to explore everything the Fleurieu has to offer! A short walk to famous Star of Greece/Port Willunga Beach, surrounded by great coffee, world renowned food experiences and just a short drive from McLaren Vale wine region.

Enjoy the north facing sunshine in all rooms in this cosy, stylish cottage with new kitchen (including integrated dishwasher, brass fixtures & Nespresso coffee machine) and new bathroom (with separate toilet). A new ducted air/con heating system to all rooms has been installed of your comfort all year round.

Two bedrooms feature queen beds with luxurious linens and comfy mattresses to ensure a great nights sleep after a day on the beach or exploring this amazing region. We supply cotton bathrobes for that extra retreat feel.

Cosy indoor living areas include a wood heater for those cosy winter nights, comfy Danish reading chair, leather lounges and dining area for enjoying fresh, local produce or playing boardgames and spending quality time together. For chill nights in, Netflix and high speed wifi is provided.

Beautiful french doors open to the large undercover pergola area overlooking a tranquil garden. Our little 'secret garden' is something to be seen. Lovingly nurtured, our eco garden comes with veggie patch, lawned area and secret garden paths for exploring all of the seasonal flowers. The garden (front and back) is brimming with plants; flowers, shrubs, trees and amazing birdlife.

A large outdoor dining area overlooks the lawned area where the kids can play or you can soak up some sunshine and enjoy that book!

The fire pit is available for those clear chilly nights, sit back and star gaze, in the garden under the festoon lights, with a nice glass of local red, tell stories and roast marshmallows.

Wander back from the beach on lazy summer days and rinse off in the outdoor shower surrounded by the smell of flowering frangipanis.

Indoor laundry has a Miele front loading washing machine with a traditional, old fashioned 'hills hoist' clothes line in the backyard.

All bed linens and bath towels provided, including beach towels and beach brolly.

We believe in the little details! This cottage has been lovingly crafted with style and comfort in mind. Enjoy the vintage pieces that we have collected over the years, beautiful antique art and hand made touches.

Lovely cottage, clean and close to the beach!

Our stay was lovely, very clean and had all the amenities. Short walk from a great beach. A central location if you want to go to the city or see other beaches. The garden was also so nice, a great place to relax in the sun and read.

The house is beautiful. Very quiet location, but 3 minute drive to shops and beach. It is everything you could want for a chilled getaway. Has heat/cold blown air system which is great for all weather. The beds are very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much that we didn’t want to leave. Hope to be back soon

A lovely break

All five of us ( four adults and a dog) thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The property is smaller than our usual bookings but had everything we needed and was clean and well cared for.

Brilliant BOHO

Magic little cottage, short walk to coast line and Star of Greece Restaurant. Wineries a short drive and plenty of facilities close by. Overall a really enjoyable stay with very considerate hosts keeping a respectable distance.

Perfect holiday escape

The cutest little cottage that had personality and charm and made us feel like we were on holidays. We really loved being able to light the fire each night and snuggle up on the comfy couches. The backyard was also a gorgeous space with lots of seating options, our one year loved exploring (and eating fresh cherry tomatoes from the veggie patch!) We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rebook if we were holidaying in the area again! Thank you to the lovely hosts.

A neat and cozy place. Comfortable bedding and a lovely backyard outlook. Very quiet neighbourhood and handy location to nearby Port Willunga and Aldinga. Beach towels very handy as we ventured into the waters at Port Willunga! Would have loved to use the wood combustion heater if we had been staying for a longer visit.

Wonderful Willunga!

This delightful cottage is perfect for a holiday in Willunga. Everything has been provided for your comfort and convenience. Our Host Alex was amazing....so considerate and thoughtful....ensuring the cottage was pre-heated for our arrival, supplying complementary wine/nibblies and offering a later check-out if required! The cottage is beautifully furnished and the gardens provide a private haven for BBQ's and outside entertainment. We enjoyed our stay immensely....just wish it could have been longer!!

Therefore a new white kitchen and modern furniture is not the desired look of this cottage. We appreciate that we all have different tastes. 40+ photos are online for review prior to booking. Great Little Getaway

Wonderful little cottage in quiet neighborhood. Very clean with everything that you need provided. Our family (including fur kid) all enjoyed our stay, especially relaxing in the backyard. Short holiday in Port Willunga

Our host kindly offered us an early arrival time. We thought the bed was clean and very comfortable the hot water was instant - excellent in fact. We are veteran B&B-ers and have plenty of stays to compare Bo Ho with. Our immediate perception - pretty garden - then inside lets the property down. The cottage is small and clean( yet grubby looking) - the attempt at “shabby chic “ is there but also “grubby chic” - tiny kitchen about 2x2 metres square - good fridge but awful stove - the plates covered in black-it. For the price per night it would seem a dishwasher would be appropriate. Down the narrow hall to bedrooms were a mish-mash of various floor tiles giving the overall grubby impression. New bathroom and toilet were appreciated. Breakfast supplies ( basis) a few nibbles were really good. Overall we would rate this property as a 3 star rating. Michael & Patricia

Boho has been operating for 4 years. We have received no less than hundreds of 5 star reviews throughout that time. We have allowed the kitchen and floor tiles to stay as it provides character and a reminder of the history of the cottage. We find this look endearing and stylish as have all other guests. We have no intention of creating an ultra modern cottage, we prefer the rustic scandi character look. We have been hosting for 5+ years and have renovated many character properties. We are highly competitive in terms of price which is why the cottage is extremely popular. This cottage might not be suited to the elderly and those with special needs.

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I spent our 9th wedding anniversary at Pt Willunga. As we were married in the McLaren Vale it's a bit of a tradition to stay and do wine tasting! We loved that we could bring our dog with us; the property is fully secure and a great location for beach walks. All the extra touches helped make the experience amazing - welcome hamper, pantry essentials, bathroom supplies, and cosy blankets!! Would definitely recommend 👍👍👍

Great place and location

We stayed at Boho Cottage for 4 nights, with 2 kids. Everyone loved the house. The place was clean and had everything we would need. Nice touch to find some basic supplies at arrival. We walked to the beach and Star of Greece in about 15mins. Recommended if you are looking for a touch of character plus convenience.

With such lovely character and beautiful garden it was hard to resist this cute little sanctuary. The moment we stepped inside the warmth and tranquillity was real. A perfect weekender for total relaxation. Location wise the most stunning scenery and delicious local produce on your doorstep with famous restaurants and markets just around the corner. A beautiful walk to Port Willunga beach via linear park, the fresh air, listening to the waves rippling, the birds bathing, the lovely community, the local produce: food and wine to die for. Add to this the stunning landscape; limestone cliffs, olive groves, vineyards, pristine coastline and the Adelaide foothills. A tranquil, cosy haven in a stunning region with plenty to see and do - or not.

What makes this property unique

Amazing location for local food and wine lovers with the famous Mclaren Vale wineries only a 10 minute drive away and the famous Star of Greece restaurant only a short stroll. Pristine beaches, sunny days (even in winter). Where vineyards and olive groves meet the sea. Perfect place to visit on route to Kangaroo Island.
