~GARDENIA COTTAGE~18+ Adult Only cottage near Duval St

THE PROPERTY: Enjoy a soothing cup of coffee on the private patio or take an
early morning walk on Mallory Square. This Adult Only home is conveniently
located down a private path and contains sought after features including Dade
County Pine and hardwood floors. In addition to modern updates in the kitchenette
and bath, you will enjoy the charm of old-world Key West. As you enter the home’s
sunny living room, you will find a sofa, side chairs, and a smart TV. Several windows, skylight,
and vaulted ceiling transform the space and provide an open, airy feeling. French doors
provide views of palm trees and the patio.

Overlooking the living room is the open loft sleeping space with a window and a queen bed under the eaves. Dual night tables, lamps and a reading chair add to the comfort of this second-floor area. Please note the ceilings are sloped.

A primary king bedroom is located towards the rear of the home. This first-floor bedroom is adorned with bedside tables and sconce lighting. A window air conditioning unit, ceiling fan and wardrobe storage add to the comfort of this space. A French door provides access to the sunlit brick patio. Just steps from the bedroom is an updated bathroom with single sink vanity and tiled, walk-in shower. Close by is a delightful kitchenette complete with a small fridge, sink, two-burner cooktop, regular drip coffee maker, microwave, and storage. A small table and two chairs are in place for convenience.

BED CONFIGURATION: One king bed is located on the first floor and one queen
bed is located on the open second-floor loft.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: A large, shared pool is available for Gardenia Cottage guests; it is
located at the back of the complex and is surrounded by swaying palms and tropical
landscaping. Loungers are in place for your use.

PARKING: No designated parking. Limited on-street parking may be available in the
neighborhood.

LOCATION: Historic Old Town, walkable to Duval Street, shops, bars, and restaurants.
Enjoy entertainment and a sunset celebration on nearby Mallory Square.

PETS: This home is NOT pet-friendly. (If you have pets, please browse through our
many homes that are pet friendly).

SMOKING: This is a STRICT NON SMOKING HOME AND COMPLEX.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect stay with a wonderful front porch! From the time we walked down the beautifully manicured, lush tropical garden path, to walking into our incredible cottage we felt at home! A BEAUTFUL spotless cottage with great amenities! We had our own lovely little, private courtyard! Although most of our time was spent on the AMAZING porch, and at pool! Just a walk to all the excitement on Duval. Then back to our peaceful oasis. Lights on grounds at night were beautiful too!!!! We will be back!

Gardenia Cottage - Hidden Oasis close to Duval!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage was so cute! Loved getting back to the property after a night on the town - walking the brick path back to our cottage at night felt like a fairytale with all the lights. It truly was a cozy getaway. The only critique I have is it'd be great if the property management would offer delivery of bags from their office. We got in about 4 hours before check-in, and because their office is offsite from the property (it's one of the few cottages in the complex not run by the Simonton Court Hotel), we had to pay for multiple Ubers to drop our bags, then go out a few hours, then back to get our bags & finally to the cottage. Other than that, everything was great! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I'd love to stay again and will be recommending to others!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gardenia cottage was very nice. Great location off of Duval st. About 2 blocks, less than 5 minute walk. Steps from a large pool with lounge chairs. This cottage sleeps 4,it is small but updated. Some cons: the main bedroom is tiny. The night stands are very small and wobbly , a nightmare for a drink or a CPAP machine. The shower has no place but the floor for soap/shampoo and washcloth. It would be a cheap and simple fix if someone would put in the effort. Overall, it’s a great little place with an awesome location! I would recommend especially if they put shelving in the bathroom and bedroom.
