North woods retreat within walking distance of Ski Brule! 1300 square foot home with finished basement. 3 bedrooms. 2 upstairs bedrooms both include 1 queen bed. there is a Full and a twin in the downstairs bedroom as well as a Full in the basement game room area. A futon and a queen pullout couch are in the house as well. 1 Full bath with Sauna! Foosball, air hockey, and darts in the basement as well as a game closet with over 40 options! Back deck has a Hot tub ready for use as well as a propane fire pit, and a Charcoal grill. All the modern conveniences needed are included. Stay and play year round in Iron County, Michigan. Experience the fantastic fishing for panfish, Trout, Walleye, Bass, and Muskie in the numerous area lakes and rivers. ATV, UTV, and Snowmobile friendly area with trail access just a few minutes from the driveway. Hunting opportunities are plentiful as well with a Grouse Management site within 20 minutes. Enjoy day trips to the UP waterfalls as well! Come stay at the Conifer Lodge!

ATV trails access - You can get there from the driveway, the closest access is in Caspian. Map will be in the binder on the kitchen table.

Fishing - the area has excellent fishing opportunities. Ive been fishing the area for 30 years so feel free to reach out! If the house is booked 5 nights, and guests give me enough notice, I can try to work out a day where I can take up to 3 people fishing on an area lake or river.

Trout streams - The paint River, Cooks Run, Ontonagon, and Iron River all provide exceptional trout fishing for Fly fisherman and Conventional fisherman alike. Primarily Brook and Brown Trout, but fantastic populations of both are present.

Ski Brule - you can be to the resort in moments. fantastic Ski, snowboarding opportunities right here in the Midwest! sales and promotions can be found on their website and social media pages!

Casino - There is Northern waters casino about 40 minutes away in Watersmeet.

Do not make the beds, whatever was slept in, please strip the bedding and leave it on the bed and the cleaners will handle!

Very cozy cabin, even better than the photos. Plenty of wood for the fireplace, hot tub was clean and working great. Overall great stay. The only con: There’s only one bathroom and through that bathroom is also the only access to the sauna.

We had a great stay at the cabin! Perfect for our two families (4 adults & 3 kids) as the adults could take the bedrooms upstairs and the kids have their own space and rec room downstairs. Perfect location to the ski hill! The fireplace and hot tub were impeccable as the hill was closed on Friday for the frigid weather. The closet of games was an added bonus! We will definitely be back!

I live in Southern Wisconsin and rented out a residence for a short time and really enjoyed seeing the reviews and the feedback during that venture. I purchased a small house in the UP which is about my favorite place on earth and hope to share that place with travelers for years to come!

Why they chose this property

It's in the heart of Iron County, a place I've traveled for 30 years for family trips and fishing. It's a very sentimental area for me. Lakes, rivers, waterfalls, hikes, and so much untapped forest. The ATV trails are one of my favorite ways to see the land and what the UP truly has to offer. Endless wildlife, and beautiful landscape.

What makes this property unique

It's just the perfect little cabin up north. Enough activities inside the house to keep the family busy during the stormy days, but so close to so many outdoor activities to enjoy. Then during the long winter season of the UP, Ski Brule resort is so close we can hear them make snow at night! the resort is amongst the best for midwestern ski slopes. Incredibly nice staff, and just a great place to spend a weekend during the cold months.
