Great location right between the ocean and the Marina. A two block walk either direction gets you to one of those.The flooring and the walls were slightly older than the pictures showed. However, it was a perfectly acceptable condo and I would stay there again.

Very cozy, clean and perfect location. Having new beach chairs and boogie boards available is a great touch. Plenty of bathroom towels and even a couple beach towels! Will definitely rent again!

This place gets 5 stars at being exactly what it is meant to be, and very well. There's no ocean view, nothing spectacular. What there is is a perfect little hideaway for one to two people with everything you need, including a full kitchen with all of the supplies, a very comfortable bed, air conditioning that works almost too well, a great shower with no lack of water pressure, and a phenomenal location. Plus you have a washer and dryer and, luxury of luxuries in this part of town, a garage!! (Beware, it's small. My rented Altima barely fit).When I say a phenomenal location I mean it. You are practically smack dab in between the Newport and Balboa piers, so you can walk to all of the amazing restaurants at both locations in 15 to 20 minutes (or to whale watcing like I did). You can be walking on the boardwalk 90 seconds after stepping out the door and standing in the ocean 90 seconds later. You can't get a better location for the price.The owner is communicative and easy to work with. I received my check-in information well ahead of time. No guessing games. I will definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to stay on the peninsula. The home is super clean with all the amenities to cook while you're there, lots of beach toys to use, laundry on site and garagevparking is a plus. Hosts were great and answered quickly when we had questions. Will definitely stay again.

Great place to stay, enjoyed how close to the beach it was. Very clean and very comfortable. only downfall is parking. Came with the garage, but you must have a subcompact car to fit. Luckily we were informed of this beforehand and everything worked out great. would stay here again.!
