"BALBOA SEA ESCAPE" (10% Weekly Discount) Beach and Bay are a block away. "GARAGE PARKING" for a "SUB COMPACT Car". "AIR CONDITIONING" Located between Newport and Balboa Piers this mid Century 4 unit building on West Balboa Blvd Is perfect for short walks to either Pier and many fine restaurants, as well as the Balboa Ferry and the Catalina Flyer. This Studio apartment has a new shower with barn door, granite counter tops, stainless appliances with dishwasher. There is a comfy queen size captain's bed with storage underneath and ample closet and drawer space. Side tables are laptop tables to provide a workspace. Amenities include Smart TV, Cable, free Wifi, coin op washer and Dryer, there is a gas BBQ with table and chairs on a shared patio space. Beach chairs are provided and stored in the garage with the laundry. This is a ground floor unit. There is a small bathroom with a small shower. Quite hours are very important. This place was perfect for our work/pleasure trip. Having towels and coolers accessible for the beach was great. We were able to walk to most places or super quick Uber. Would 100% stay again!

Perfect place to stay on the peninsula. The home is super clean with all the amenities to cook while you're there, lots of beach toys to use, laundry on site and garagevparking is a plus. Hosts were great and answered quickly when we had questions. Will definitely stay again.

The bed in the room was a single double bed, not a queen-size bed. I paid for a week's stay but only stayed two nights. It's a great place for couples, the location is fantastic, just minutes' walk from the beautiful beach , and the hostess, Janet, was very nice

This property is located on block off the beach and about a 25 minute drive from John Wayne Airport. The rental provides all the basics for an enjoyable stay, is in a safe location and within walking distance to shops and services.

This is my second time staying at this spot, and there is a reason why I have stayed here twice! This spot is so cute and cozy and is just a short walk across the street to the beach. The place is so clean and that is so important to me. It’s also a plus that this place has a garage for a vehicle. I would definitely come back to this place!

It was a lovely stay. Half a block from the beach within a Newport residential neighborhood. Bed was comfy. Parking was great. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple.
