A cozy house in the heart of St. Matthews, one of Louisville's most desirable neighborhoods. Walking distance to numerous restaurants (across a variety of cuisines and price points), a grocery store, a fish market, coffee shops, bakeries, and bars/live music venues. Short drive to two malls, movie theaters, Target, and various other shopping opportunities. Easy access to Bowman Field, Waterson Expressway, Seneca and Cherokee Parks, etc.
House has master bedroom with queen bed and attached bathroom with full bath. Downstairs bedroom is its own apartment, including queen bed-room, dual-head walk-in shower, 2nd television, electric fireplace, couch, coffee maker, etc. Spacious extra 3rd bedroom in finished attic shares bathroom with master bedroom. Central air and heat, wifi, cable, microwave, full kitchen, washer-dryer are all available.

Lovely house, quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants.

We absolutely enjoyed this house. We had 3 couples and the house was comfortable, amazingly quiet having 6 of us there. Walked into a dozen roses, a bottle of wine and bourbon chocolates. VERY thoughtful. Very close to a lot of restaurants. It is a nice clean well put together house.

Why they chose this property

In New Orleans I had enjoyed a walkable neighborhood that was close to many exciting amenities, and I hoped to replicate that when I moved to Louisville. I was able to do so in St. Matthews, which has a spectrum of fun and tasty spots just a short walk or drive away, along green, leafy streets.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy an authentic Louisville neighborhood and local venues, feeling far from the Derby and crowds of downtown, yet only minutes away from those attractions thanks to my convenience to the major expressways. Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails on front and back porches, or under a blanket near the electric fire.
