Exclusive Sombrero Beach vacation retreat is located just up the street from one of the best beaches in the Florida Keys. Sombrero Beach is a large sandy beach that offers something for everyone in the family including playground, volleyball swimming and picnic tables. The beach is also a great place to watch the gorgeous sunrises or sunsets.

This beautiful 3,900 square foot home is situated on a large lot at the end of a cul-de-sac affording you the privacy that you desire.

This backyard has it all! The 189 foot deep water concrete dock has plenty of room for your boat with power, water and fish cleaning table. There is also a 500lb commercial ice machine and a bait freezer located in the garage. Ride to the beach, rent a boat and tour Boot Key Harbor, or just check out the neighboring canals. Large pool with waterfall and hot tub are surrounded by a spacious patio that even includes your own private tiki hut that boasts 2 TV's, 6 Lazy Boy loungers, an outdoor bar with refrigerator. There are also lounge chairs and outdoor furniture for everyone. After a long day in the sun, relax by the fire pit and watch the fish swimming in the underwater lights at the dock.

Other ammenities include 3 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, corn hole game, and 2 bicycles.

This is a beautiful home in Paradise! We had the best time with our family in Marathon! There were 10 of us total, 4 adults and 6 kids (18 mo-15yrs) and everyone had fun! The house was clean, hosts were easy to communicate with, house was stocked, comfortable beds/furniture, beautiful pool, close to Publix grocery store, game room, amazing outdoor area, and more! We had an incredible week and would definitely book again!

This property is great. The description & photos in the listing are a current and accurately represent the property. Our 2 families of 4 (with a boat) had more than enough space and plenty to do. This property is well designed and stocked for everything from family/friends gatherings to boating/fishing trips… the outdoor patio area was really nice. The dock is well done with lights, fresh water, power and fish cleaning station… this was perfect for our fishing trips. The property managers were super-friendly and communicated often ensuring our stay was going well. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Great property! Better than the pictures show!! The home is well stocked and is designed with room to spread out or be together in the large living/Kitchen area. Great game room on the second level. The beds are all comfortable.The porch area provides several seating areas for that morning coffee overlooking the pool and canal. The large tiki hut is a wonderful place to relax out of the sun. The dockage accommodated our 35’ center console with ease and is a quick access to Sister Creek, Boot key harbor and the ocean. Overall great place.

Best Family Vacation!

This property was perfect for our family vacation! The home is spacious & thoughtfully set up to accommodate all ages! The backyard area was by far our favorite spot for any activity- swimming! fishing! napping! shade! movie night! relaxation! drinking! working! family photos! sunbathing! The dock is the largest of any other rental we’ve had. It made docking a boat simple, and still had plenty of room for fishing, and launching kayaks/paddle boards at any given time.

Family gathering

I have rented many large homes on VRBO over the years for my growing family and this home has been one of the best! Everything stated in the description was exactly at is appeared and actually better. I’m a very particular person and a clean freak too. But this home met and exceeded my expectations! My adult children and the grandkids had an amazing time. The game room and pool were a perfect way to pass the time at the end of the day after boating! Thank you so much Lisa for such a lovely home!

Amazing time

This property is gorgeous and a perfect location!!! We absolutely loved the outside space and used it the most. There were 5 adults and 2 kids in our group. There were 3 bikes to use and we rented another 3 which allowed us to ride to the beach, Publix, and the gym daily!! There were a few issues due to the storm that rolled through the day before we showed up, however the property managers were super helpful and prompt in getting everything resolved. As someone mentioned previously the inside is more outdated with little things that need to be fixed, but I would hands down stay there again…and hopefully will next year!

This house is very well equipped and has it all! Inside and out, this is a perfect spot. We used the dock for our 25' boat and enjoyed boating to dinner, snorkeling and just cruising. Best vacation ever, worth it! We will be back to Marathon and hopefully this property!

Sombrero Gem

Our family loves to fish and snorkel, and this place was perfect for that. Nice deep water dock, with tarpon and snook hanging in the lights at night. The place is a little older, meaning the room sizes are generous, the layout is great, but the finishes are somewhat dated. Unfortunately the owner has significantly increased his prices since out rental, so we will be staying elsewhere this year.

Everything you could want!

This house is located in a great location that makes it very accessible to Sombrero Beach as well as the Atlantic waterways by boat. Super clean, spacious with TONS of amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed biking, kayaking and paddling boarding when not in the pool during the day or under the tiki hut watching tv in the outdoor recliners. We had family game night with the pool table, dart board, foosball and cornhole and ended the evening around the fire pit. Kitchen was well equipped and we chose to make most of our meals at home. Having all king beds in the bedrooms made everyone super comfortable. Highly recommend…we will definitely be back.

The location of this home is perfect! My son & I were able to walk to Sombrero Beach, which is also beautiful! This was probably the nicest, most well kept & equipped vrbo we have stayed in. You have all the amenities here!! Pool floaties, cornhole, fishing, so much seating, pool table, tv’s everywhere, a bar, all the utensils you may need, you guys didnt miss a thing!! Love the master flamingo bathroom too, adorable!! Im sure we will be back!! If you are thinking of renting in the Keys, this is your place!! Thank you so much for memorable trip!!

Everything We Needed

This home was so beautiful, spacious, and furnished with everything we needed for our family of 10 to enjoy. The location was perfect and close to beach, groceries, restaurants and entertainment. WOW! what a great home, VERY relaxing and accommodated our group of 10 with ease. Multiple places to gather as a group and relax and enjoy each other's company. Bring your boat, excellent dockage, fish cleaning station. Multiple restaurants to get to by boat. The public boat slip is less than 5 minutes and very convenient. Beautiful house set up nicely for entertaining, fishing and just chilling out. great outdoor features which the pictures are great but in person the entire package is AWESOME. Fabulous house on water near Sombrero Beach

Two families of four (including 4 teens) enjoyed an absolutely amazing week just a short walk away from Sombrero Beach. We comfortably slept 8, and loved the extra space in the home to relax, play pool, watch TV/movies on the very large and new TVs. Outdoors offered endless entertainment and relaxation - ie, fishing and kayaking in the canal, lounging by the gorgeous pool and spa (complete with a waterfall), and relaxing in the tiki hut admiring the glorious views. It's convenient to stores and restaurants too. We've been to the keys six other occasions and this by far was the nicest property and amenities to date.
