Sadie's Place in Old Orchard Beach

This lovely and comfortable beach house is two blocks from the beach. I named it for my grandmother, Sadie, who is part of the four wonderful generations of the Thompson Family. We take great pleasure sharing our home with you and yours.

We know how important time away with your family is. When you pull into our driveway, you'll be welcomed by the smell of the Atlantic Ocean, the wind blowing gently through the air. Across the street sits Memorial Park, with beautifully kept grass that begs you to take your shoes off and walk freely, a playground and library to entertain the kids, and tennis courts just in case you feel the need to work on your backhand. The sounds of summer will be all around you - live music on the gazebo in the park, laughter from the amusement park just down the road, and seagulls singing overhead.

Front enclosed porch to relax on in the morning for breakfast, or after the beach, and a back patio with table and grill for renters use. Beach gear provided (beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, coolers, beach carts).

When you arrive at the house, you step into the entryway equipped with a full-sized washer and dryer, with direct access to a 3/4 bath just in case you want to wash up after a long day at the beach. The kitchen is spacious, equipped with most cooking basics, and even has a speaker in case you want to have a relaxing night listening to music while you cook. Living/dining room has a 60" HDTV with a Roku and Blu-Ray player, as well as board games and books available for you to use.

For sleeping arrangements, there are two bedrooms with a queen bed, a downstairs bedroom with a full bed, and a kid's bedroom with a twin/full bunk and a twin with a trundle underneath.

Linens, bath towels, paper products, hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwashing pods are all provided.
