Haleakala Shores #B-309 is a 2 bedroom / 2 bath, upstairs unit with a fully equipped kitchen, Washer/Dryer, Partial A/C, and Cable TV/DVD. It is right across the street from Kamaole Beach #3. With a King bed in the Master bedroom and two twins in the Guest bedroom that can be converted into a King bed as well. Haleakala Shores #B-309 can sleep 6.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Haleakala Shores is a condominium complex located directly across from Kamaole Beach II and III. It has a protected sandy beach which is great for beach walks, whale watching in the winter, magnificent sunsets, swimming, snorkeling, and sunning. Haleakala Shores has a nice pool area, gas barbeques and free parking.

Overall good place to stay!

Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Reason for the 3 star ratings: white towels and sheets were stained and the unit faces the street so it can get quite noisy in the early am. Other than those minor points, it was a great stay and I would rent here again. The beach chairs were useful. The full kitchen was well stocked and the laundry detergent came in handy as we limited our packing for this trip. Clean and quaint.

Kehei fabulous

This was an ideal location for the best of Wailea and Kehei. The condo is a very short walk from the beach with gorgeous sunsets every night. The pool area is beautiful. This place fit all of family our needs. Mahalo!

Wonderful place to call home during our stay

Very clean and well appointed. Master bathroom shower only mists, which makes for a lame shower after a day at the beach. Lovely experience all around.

Great stay for our family

This property was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of sleeping space. Layout was nice with bedrooms on opposite sides of the condo. Lanai was perfect for coffee in the morning and we had a lovely view of the trees and mountains with a little ocean view as well. My son and his friend meet at the beach every morning for snorkeling and it was directly across the street. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within a 15 min walk.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My only complaint was that the pillows need to be replaced, there may be pillowcases but there was and odd odor. Good thing my group only rented one car as you get one place to park. Place is a little dated but it served its purpose., no solid complaints.

Mostly clean, but not the best sleeping arrangements for larger groups

We loved the lication, but didnt find the sleeping arrangements the best during iur stay. The bedrooms have separate ac units so they stayed cooler at night, but those who used the sofa bed slept in hot weather because there is only a fan. I texted the company at the number i had to see if we could get a an extra fan brought in but didnt recieve a reply. I didnt followup as we were busy any way. The pool pump had also broken so that was disheartening since we couldnt use the pool, but that stuff happens.

The location is great and is right across the street from Kamaole 3 Beach. This unit (B309) was clean and comfortable if a bit worn and dated. It could use some refreshing and a few minor repairs. The pool was nice and we enjoyed visiting with other guests and permanent residents while there, but they could use a few more lounge chairs. Plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance. The management company responded very quickly to a problem we had with the wifi.

Great location, not family friendly

Our unit B309 was dated, but in ok shape. The washer/dryer was miniature. The a/c units could not keep up with the heat from the south facing unit. It was hot. Location is really great. Amazing beach just a 2 minute walk away. If you have younger kids, beware. Our family rented an number of units for a family reunion and the property manager said residents complained about kids having fun at the pool. I can’t count the number of times we were shushed! This was during the middle of the day, not at night. They expected small children to be quiet like a tiny adult.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 5 night stay was for a wedding and we stayed with another couple. The unit was spacious and provided a comfortable base to relax, eat, and enjoy the island. We didn't use the pool or other property amenities, but the close access to the beach was a plus.The unit included all the amenities you might need to enjoy your stay to the fullest, including beach chairs & an umbrella, a cooler bag, beach towels, etc. which was a pleasant surprise.On the negative side, the unit was well worn and needed a good cleaning. The entryway mirrors showed wear, and the window screens were coated with dust, especially the ones in the bathrooms. We didn't use most of the appliances except the microwave, but the washing machine had leaked just prior to our stay and was being replaced.

What a Beautiful Spot for a Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful unit. It is exactly as depicted in the photos. We were 5 adults and a baby. My son slept on the couch - didn't even make out the bed as it was so comfortable. My daughter's family took the bedroom with the actual door in case of baby crying during the night, and my husband and I had the big bed in the screened room. We had the fan running all night long and it was perfect. The location of the unit was Fantastic along Kamaole Point Beach with the other ones just a stone's throw away. Cute little coffee shops and restaurants walking distance from our door. We used the pool on several different occasions. - One thing I didn't like was that you needed a Pool Key to get OUT of the pool area, as well as to get in. This made the key-juggling a little more difficult, and I didn't really understand the point of it.We had a rental car so enjoyed all of the Isand, including several switch-back type roads - Hana was the easiest.We took the Molokini Crater Snorkel Tour and Turtle Town (which could have been arranged through the Maul Rentals concierge, but we booked it ourselves.We used the kitchen extensively - everything worked well. Also did a load of laundry.Overall, we loved this week. Not sure how old the unit actually is, it's not new, but it's very nice for a family.

Great Location but Parking is the Worst!

This property is in a great location, within walking distance to beaches and even though it wasn't listed, it had beach towels, chairs and an umbrella and a soft-shell cooler, which we were grateful for. We liked the washer/dryer combo. Cons: 2 cockroaches found in the kitchen. Granted, they looked like they were dying, but still we had to dispose of them and put all our food in the fridge. We arrived late and discovered that the sofa bed did not have bedding that fit. We texted the manager and received a reply the next day that they were in the place labeled sofa bedding. But, we never did find a place labeled that. We just made due with extra bedding. The bedding was not good. There was a big rust colored stain on a comforter we found for the sofa bed. All sheets were old and thin and the pillows were thin and lumpy. Definitely need to upgrade the bedding. The air conditioning is portable and it was loud. Fortunately, stayed in April, so it did cool down some at night and it helped to open the windows. The worst part of this place is the parking! If you will have anything larger than a compact car-DO NOT stay here. We spent so much time parking our rented mini-van. It took 3 people to park. A driver, and two people to watch to make sure you did not hit the concrete wall or the car next to you. The driver, usually had to climb out of the car on the passenger side. It is that small! We couldn't open the back hatch up when it was parked, so we had to unload, then park.

Great place budget friendly place to stay but a little dated…

This apartment is great: great location, spacious, clean, comfortable beds and couch, good showers. Our family of 4 was well accommodated in our 6 days stay and we had no issues.The only downside is that the unit is a little dated. This doesn’t bother me as long as everything is functional, and it was.My only suggestion to the owner/manager is to inspect/maintain the AC units (they are VERY loud!) and the seal on the door of the fridge (it doesn’t close properly and drinks don’t get cold enough). I would only recommend this place if staying at a slightly dated place is not an issue for you. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Travel Back in Time in Beautiful Kihei

We visited Maui as a family of 4 - mom, dad, and 2 teens. We stayed 4 days. Pros: Location - Kihei is very central. It is a great place for beginners to surf. Lessons and rentals nearby. The unit is on the 3rd floor, but only up one flight of stairs from the parking spot. There is an elevator in the building. They provided beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, a pool float, laundry detergent, dish soap, a sponge, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, hand soap, and every kitchen appliance and utensil imaginable. They also provided toilet paper and paper towel. (Only 1 garbage bag and no dishwasher tablets) The sleeping arrangements were great. There is one traditional bedroom with 2 twin sized beds, a stand up A/C unit, a ceiling fan, an tv, and an en-suite bathroom. The main “bedroom” is sort of a room. It is separated from the living room by a system of movable screens. This room has a wall A/C unit, a ceiling fan, and an en-suite bathroom. You can watch the living room tv from bed by opening the screens. The living room, dining room and kitchen are big and gave us plenty of room to move around. Cons:Roaches. Granted, they were all dead, but still. This is very off-putting. I saw at least 4 of them. The unit is very dated and has a lot of random stuff in it - garbage bags with linens under the bed, a dirty mop. No A/C in the living room. It got hot. No real privacy in the main bedroom. If someone is watching tv in the living room, you can’t watch tv in the main.

The essentials in the condo such as a dollar one-ply toilet paper, dollar paper towel and tiny sample size bar soap and tiny sample tubes of shampoo and conditioner, small bottle of dishwashing soap and 4 washer detergent pods and like a 2oz of liquid detergent provided, was the down size. Basically, everything was probably bought from the dollar discounted store. We were initially staying at another condo in Kauai before landing in Maui. The condo in Kauai was very generous with essentials needed. They had way better essentials to start off our stay, mind you it’s very convenient when you’re on vacation, going to the store to get last minute essentials can be a hassle. The place was clean overall.

Just 3 things

We loved the unit they only things were:1. The seal in the frig weather seal strip on tbe door was not tight, we had to use tape to make sure door stayed shut and tight to keep our food cold2. The stove burner dials did not work as well as one burner. We had to make sure with a pot of water in burner that webtuened tbe dial to off3. The fan in luving room, we puckedbit up to use and it waa broken and not bolted toso we just left it in ths corner OTHERWISE this unit was AWESOME!
