The Ginger Bread House A Cosy AFrame home nestled at the base of Falls Creek, only a 40 minute drive away, and is a 1 hour and 20 minute drive to Mt Hotham.
Mount Beauty does not usually receive snowfall, but we occasionally get a light dusting in the ski season! Walking distance to Resturants & shops & Brewery.
Wonderful in autumn for the Autumn Leaves, Winter for snow skiing Falls Creek, Mt. Buffalo, Mt. Hotham. Spring for the wonderful blossoms. Summer for the magic blue sky sunny days. Great Mt. bike riding trails all year round at the Big Hill Mountain Bike Park

Ginger Bread House Review

Check in was late, 4pm, which made it hard to plan for a long trip. We were given the wrong door code & wrong phone number on arrival so was stuck outside. Had to ask the neighbours for assistance. There was an ant problem in the property. Otherwise the house was comfortable for what we needed.

Very enjoyable stay

We loved staying at the gingerbread house. The second day of our stay became lock down number 6. Communication with the owner, Lyn, was fantastic both before and during this situation. We decided to lock down in the gingerbread house & had a great stay playing with the provided board games, cooking in the very well equipped kitchen & doing some lovely walks We will definitely be back!

Gingabread house getaway

We really enjoyed the stay.Very clean,well looked after house.Property manager is very polite and friendly and was on time with the check in. If only the house had air con it would have been perfect in this 40 degree heat.
