We had a great Mother's day weekend here. Comfy beds and a great view! There was a few things that needed improving on but didn't affect our overall trip. Casago was very communicative and responded to messages in a reasonable manner. There isn't a yard so be prepared to walk your dogs to go potty. Only negative I would say is there wasn't extra blankets for if it got chilly. We plan on using Casago again in the future for our Oregon Coast vacation needs!
The house worked for what we needed…plenty of room and bathrooms. The view was beautiful. The property managers were really good to work with. The place was ok. Plenty of towels and the laundry was good. Unfortunately, it was in the garage as the one inside was taped shut. It was nice having a bedroom suite downstairs and the other two rooms upstairs. The stairs were steep! The kitchen could be better equipped. I did leave suggestions regarding the kitchen but we were able to eat.
The interior of the home was nice and clean. We had a nice stay here. The kitchen was not particularly well equipped for cooking and one of the burners on the stove (front left) was not working at all (plus the "element on" light was always on, even when the burners were all in the "off" position). I had read reviews about the kitchen so we had not planned to do much cooking. There is a washer/dryer stack in the bathroom that makes the door close a tight one (watch your fingers!), but they don't even work - the working ones are in the garage. The exterior was overgrown - at first we weren't even sure if this was the right property because it looked a bit neglected and there was no "casago" sign. We eventually did find the sign- it was engulfed in the bushes out front. The house would have a nice view to the north, but the trees and (invasive) bamboo are really tall and block the view in that direction. Speaking of view -- the best view from the living room has this white flag pole that juts out from the deck railing into the view - kind of annoying. It was very windy one of the days we were there and, while it was fun to watch the swaying of the trees, if they get any bigger I'd be nervous about them given how close they are to the house.
Perfect Place off the main drag - Perfect for families
This place is perfect. Amazing views, off the main road away from the crowds and big enough for a family. The place had everything needed and we definitely want to come back and bring the kids.
Great view, not on the ocean (as advertised, it's a short drive). Plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. Big table upstairs was perfect for Thanksgiving.
The view was spectacular, and there at every turn. Close to town and beach. So much room for the two of us. Clean neat filled with all the amenities one could need. And so reasonably priced.
We really needed a vacation after having our new edition 4 months ago, this house was perfect! It sits on the hill and has a beautiful view of the ocean that you can hear from all rooms. Our 12 year old LOVED he had his own "apartment" and we saw him at activity time and feeding time! Beds were very comfortable and house was beautiful!
We stayed for a week in February 2024. The house was perfect for our family of four and my parents. The view is beautiful and the new construction next door only partially blocks and it didn't bother us at all. Use of the garage was really nice as we used it to keep our drift boat out of the weather at night. We would definitely stay here again!
