We just spent a month in the South Carolina low country at this fabulous house on Euhaw Creek. We arrived to this beautifully decorated, immaculate home with flowers greeting us on the counter and a bottle of wine in the wine cooler. This place has all the amenities you could hope for. We were able to enjoy viewing the wildlife in the creek from our glassed-in porch, firepit, or sitting out on the dock. The owners, who couldn’t have been more accommodating, let us use their kayaks to explore the marshes and view a wide variety of water birds up close. We even got to see dolphins “strand feeding” right in front of the dock. The location is convenient to Beaufort, Bluffton, Savannah, and a wide array of parks and wildlife preserves. It’s only 90 minutes from Charleston as well. As nature lovers we went exploring frequently and never ran out of interesting and fun activities. Whenever we ventured out we looked forward to returning to the serenity of our Marsh Mellow home.If you like nature and want to explore the low country of South Carolina, you won’t find a better place to stay than Marsh Mellow.
