Indoors

This home provides space for comfort, connection and relaxation, with multiple gathering areas that make it easy for everyone to spread out or come together. The upstairs living room is a relaxing space for cozy conversations, watching tv and sharing time with family and friends. Downstairs, the family room is a casual and comfortable lounge space for watching your favorite movies or playing games, while you grab your favorite drink from the bar. You can also enjoy the unique Barrel Room, a separate space to play a game of chess or cards or just relax and read a book.

Outdoors

Step outside and unwind in your own private outdoor retreat. The two back decks are perfect for enjoying morning coffee or grilling and sharing meals. Enjoy the expansive back yard area with plenty of space for a game of cornhole or croquet. The rustic outdoor game shed is an ideal place to grab your favorite drink from the cooler and play a game of darts. This was a well stocked, well thought out and beautiful place to stay. I will stay there as often as I can when I go up to the mountains. There are five of us who stayed and we were all impressed with the place.

Great, well furnished home directly across from Veritas. Had three children under 6, and the home was well equipped to handle all ages. The backyard was full of activities, plenty of child friendly accomdations, and very close and convienent to plenty of wineries, breweries, and hiking!

The proximity of this property to Veritas Vineyards is why we first chose it. But I would choose it again and again if I was visiting the area. The house was well organized, stocked and beautifully decorated. Temperature in the house was easy to control and my whole party was comfortable throughout our stay. Our hosts were super helpful with clear written instructions and recommendations. I needed access to the house after check out on our last day and the hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating. This home was a 10/10!!!

We had an excellent stay! The house was in an ideal location near wineries and breweries. It was perfect for our family and extended family members, including our 17 month old son. The house was clean, well stocked, and equipped with everything we needed for a great family getaway to the area visiting our VA family and friends. The host was excellent in a pinch and we are grateful for the hospitality and care!
