We loved our stay in this lovely chalet

Lovely old style chalet. the lady we met was very nice and accommodating. The chalet is just 2 mins walk from the lake and is around 9mins walk to brienz west train station which is our main point to go to interlaken and other areas.

What a great place to stay in Brienz! The house is on an absolutely beautiful street with great views of the surrounding mountains. The house was extremely clean and really comfortable. The low ceilings remind you that you are in an historic place. Our boys loved swimming in the lake each day and the house is only steps from the water.

Beautiful location

Loved Brienz, and yho home is on the heart of it. Be aware that of you are tall (6ft plus) you may not be comfortable living here. Our family referred to it as our "dollhouse", and a few doorways even I, at 5ft10in , needed to duck through. Well stocked, close to everything, responsive manager

Excellent stay!

A nice and clean house in a beautiful location. We were warmly greeted by the hostess, and received a lot of information about all the activities that were available in the area. Compliments for the hospitality of the hostess. She was always there for us when we needed something. On Sunday we wanted to go to church and the hostess immediately checked whether this was possible. In summary, this stay is worth repeating. A., A. and L.

Beautiful chalet in stunning location

This is a beautiful and spotlessly clean chalet, very well equipped and close to the lake, shops etc. Amazing walks up towards the mountains too. The town of Brienz has lots to do. Gabriele was so helpful with everything form helping us sort parking tickets and advising us where to go/do. The only slight negative is that our 6'3'' son couldn't stand up in the kitchen due to low ceiling height so beware if you are very tall. The other rooms had sufficient ceiling height but low door heights.

Charming, clean, perfect location

Our family of 5 (aged 18+) had a wonderful stay in Chalet Esther, Brienz. The weather was perfect while we were there, so we spent most of our time exploring the whole area. But, we always came home for dinner together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (no microwave), and grocery stores were easy to get to. We are a tall family, so be aware that anyone 6 feet tall or more will be at risk of hitting their head often. We lovingly referred to Chalet Esther as our dollhouse as low ceilings and doorways made the space feel tiny. But, the location was worth it! Close to the sea, the 2 train stations, and food shops, on a traditional and beautiful street. No washing machine, do plan accordingly.

Chalet mit Charme

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt, das Chalet Esther ist wunderbar gemütlich, picobello sauber und sehr gut mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Kochen braucht. Highlights waren für uns der kleine, urige Balkon und die zentrale Lage in der wunderschönen Brunngasse, ganz nah beim See. Unsere Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein toller Ausgangspunkt im Berner Oberland - wir kommen gern wieder!

Entschleunigung pur

Wer dem ganzen Alltagsstress entsagen will, ist in dieser Unterkunft bestens aufgehoben. Kein TV, Radio und auch kein W-lan oder Internet. Dafür aber einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Brienzersee und auf die Bergwelt. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht. Wir haben, ohne Ausnahme, alle sehr gut geschlafen, die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wir haben uns heimisch gefühlt. Das Gebäude liegt sehr ruhig im historischen Zentrum von Brienz. Ganz großes Lob an den Gastgeber!

Erholsam

Herrliche Umgebung mit vielen verschiedenen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, auch bei Regenwetter. Auch für Kinder gibt es viel zu entdecken. Dank NIchtvorhandensein von TV kamen die vorhandenen Spiele und Bücher mit Begeisterung zum Einsatz. Die Betreuung vor Ort war freundlich, zuverlässig, pflichtbewusst, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit.

Ferien mitten in Brienz

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und wir wurden vor Ort sehr gut betreut. Wir hatten ein Problem mit dem verstauen von unserem Kanu und die Nachbarin hat uns sofort ihre Hilfe angeboten und wir fanden ein Plätzchen, super. Wir haben unsere Ferien voll genossen und der Kontakt zu den Nachbarn.

Zij hecht waarde aan duurzame materialen en biedt bewust zo min mogelijk elektrische apparaten aan - dus geen tv of wifi. Wij betreuren het dat u dit niet leuk vond en verwelkomen u graag in een van onze andere accommodaties.
