In short, being just 2 blocks from the Red Line train, with easy access to three bus routes (one of which stops right out in front of the building) and the Kennedy and Lake Shore Drive Expressways, there is nowhere you can't get to in pretty much a straight shot.

We're 3 minutes from the North/Clybourn Red line and around the corner from the #8 Halsted bus.

What a bright and open space! The property is well kept and feels like a home not like just a weekend rental. The owners were very accommodating and lovely. The layout is nice and the kitchen was well stocked. There is a bus stop just steps away from the door. I would definitely recommend this as a base when visiting Chicago.

I have stayed at dozens and dozens of VRBO‘s across the country over nearly two decades. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property. It has become my favorite VRBO property for many reasons. For one, the communication between the owners is helpful, pragmatic, and exactly just what you need with a light touch. Everything in the house is spelled out very carefully. The pre-instructions and post instructions are easy to follow and not onerous at all. I’ve stayed in two different apartments in this property and both were fantastic. More beds than you can possibly use but very well hidden so it doesn’t feel like you’re in a bunk house. The property is beautifully curated with amazing art. everything in the units, appliances, bathroom, fixtures, kitchen, towels, linens, EVERYTHING is first quality. But it doesn’t feel like you’re in a museum. You just feel like you’re at home. And the location is perfect. A couple of blocks away from some of the best shopping in Chicago—without the crowds. And tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that is about 15 minutes from Michigan Avenue. Heck we don’t even go down to Michigan Avenue when we stay here because the shopping on North Avenue is so much better. And no crazy crowds. In my VRBO Hall of Fame Magic Factory is at the top of the list. Thanks to our hosts with the most and hope to visit again soon!

Spacious, quiet and centrally located

This was a great place to stay for our group of 5 friends. The kitchen and living area had plenty of room for hanging out comfortably. The hosts were always available close-by but out of sight. The kitchen was very well stocked and had a lot of basics. Even though we didn’t cook at all, we could have easily done so with everything they had on-hand. It was super-easy to grab an uber anywhere in the city for a quick ride, or walk to nearby shops for a quick restock. Definitely a place I’d want to return to stay at again!

Beautiful Loft Perfect for our Group.

This was a lovely apartment with great access. Had a glitch with the refrigerator not working when we first got there, which I would think it would be checked out first, But they were able to fix it after a bit and the rest of the weekend went smoothly. I would stay again.

Magic Indeed

I’ve been a VRBO member for over two decades and this is in my top two properties of all time. The apartment is spacious, beautifully appointed and perfectly laid out for a large family gathering. The decoration throughout the space is fun and thoughtful and incredibly eclectic. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to be in the action but have a little solitude at the end Of the day. Better shopping and dining than Michigan Ave. without the traffic and crowds. And on top of all this goodness, by far the clearest and most consistent communication I’ve EVER experienced in vacation rentals. We can’t wait to come back!
