We’re late writing this because we got home, the kids jumped straight back into school, and reality hit hard, but this place deserves the time it took to do it right. This home was truly special. From the moment you walk in, you can take a deep breath. It’s beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated without being overwhelming. Every detail felt intentional- from the blankets and local touches to the gentle, grace-filled reminders that were actually helpful (and never felt rule-heavy).The hospitality was next-level. Spa-like bathrooms, genuinely comfortable beds, and the kindest “did you forget this? we’ve got you” touches… including a toothbrush that saved me a snowy Walmart run. Crawling into bed each night felt like a warm hug.The layout was perfect for our family of four grandma! The kids loved having their own room and plenty of real space to play, the boys even made a reading nook in a closet). Nothing felt cramped or awkwardly converted. An extra highlight: my handicapped mom traveled with us, and this home was an accessibility dream. A handrail at the entry, a main-level bedroom, wide open walkways, and no unnecessary obstacles.Meals together were easy and enjoyable in the well-stocked kitchen. Snow at the house made for unforgettable sledding just behind it (thank you for having sleds!), and even snow melt was ready to go if needed! This wasn’t just a great rental, it was a delight and truly felt like a sanctuary. We’d return in a heartbeat!
The view from the back porch- which even has a grill for a fun dinner option!
Cozy home, comfy couches, cold weather = the best rest.
On the last night- they begged to make a fort between the two twin beds. It was so cozy they slept there all night! Sweet setup for boys!

My husband and I have been vacationing in the high country for years now and decided to take the plunge and buy a place for us, our friends and family and now guests. We hope you enjoy our spot as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

It is conveniently located to everything the High Country has to offer. Plus it is a small quiet neighborhood with great views and easy access to Highway 105

What makes this property unique

Luxury Bath Sheets, fireplace, family friendly and we have a sledding hill and sleds if you are lucky enough to stay when there is snow on the ground. Unfortunately I can’t guarantee that though.
