Historical Building Right On The Square in Downtown San Marcos! No Pets!

This is a 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath unit in a historical building in downtown San Marcos (convenient to Austin, San Antonio, and New Braunfels). Each bedroom has its own private bath room. This unit is street side, and is on the top floor. There is not an elevator, this is a historic building. There are stairs, two flights up, as pictured,
Enjoy the experience of staying in a vibrant downtown location with the convenience of a great restaurant, Sean Patrick's below! Unit 128 is on the top floor, there is not an elevator, this is a historic building. There are stairs, two flights up, as pictured. Although we have had many guests that have never had any noise issues, we would expect some urban noise, this is a vibrant downtown. We do have white noise machines, when the family stays there we also use a fan, but have been told by a guest that they can hear traffic noise at times (loud stereos, loud motors). You would think there is bar noise from below, but guests and tenants say they don't hear any bar noises. The restaurant closes at 11 PM, with a few exceptions at midnight. Speaking of, try the Saturday and Sunday Brunch! Its great!

The apartment has a large kitchen, two bedrooms with each having a private bathroom totaling two bathrooms, and washer/dryer. Bedrooms and Living Area have comfortable furnishings, quality linens with ceiling fans in each room. There is a 65' flat screen television in the Living Room. WiFi is included. All utilities included.

Why they chose this property

I am passionate about historical buildings, this building was built in 1885. I love how downtown areas are being renovated across the country. This building was renovated in 2005 when I first saw it. Several years later I was given the opportunity to purchase the property. San Marcos, one of the fastest growing cities in the Nation, is a great city to be part of. I have family that attended Texas State, and I am glad to be part of this community.

What makes this property unique

Love the loft style, the exposed brick, and the high ceilings of this unit. I like to see the views of San Marcos high above the City. Also like that I can simply walk downstairs and have some great food, and watch a few sports events, or just take a casual walk around the square. We also have on site help with any issues.
