Description
A special place for you, your family and friends. Enjoy waterfront living with a 60' deck and lower patio, plus a screen porch, all overlooking Lake Anna only 100 ft away. At the water, a spacious 1,600 sf boat house with a 'whip' mooring system for guests boat, large sun deck, covered gazebo, and bar room with refrigerator, microwave and hotdog maker... all adjacent to a gradual sloping beach.

House has a open floor plan on both levels for entertaining. Every room in the house has a waterfront view (with exception of the Guest Master). Both Masters are on the main floor with 2 bedrooms and a recreation room (which includes a sleep sofa) on the lower level, providing everyone 'their getaway space'. Guest washer/dryer located on the main level.

We unfortunately cannot accommodate; Pets, Weddings, Receptions, Group Parties or Celebrations, or those that wish to Smoke. Our home is a Pet & Smoke free home for families & couples to enjoy.

And most importantly, the safety of our guests and our family are always a top priority. We have our home professionally cleaned by a licensed firm prior to each individual guests arrival.

Perfect Location

We have been coming to Lake Anna for serval years & by far you have the best location yet. The home was very clean, organized & very communicated directions for the operation of the home. Great home

We really enjoyed our stay here! The host was super flexible, and helpful in preparing for having our group there over Thanksgiving. Plenty of space, well stocked, clean, and nice view of the lake.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property on the lake with dock. Outdoor spaces, firepit, and dock are lovely. Inside is spacious and bright. Owners were friendly and responsive.

Excellent rejuvenation time on the lake

5 friends supporting each other in our journey of life.Fun time with games and comradery. Brought our own kayaks and enjoyed the lake . The weather was marvelous.

Very nice.Peaceful and serene. Property could have been cleaner.Probably end of season wear and tear.Some things needed repair such as bannister to downstairs and screen door to the deck.Broken and off track. some of the outdoor steps are way to high and concrete color makes it hard to see especially for older people. But overall a great place to gather.

Place is as described. Has everything you need to enjoy the lake. I brought spices cleaning stuff, hand soaps they had it all. Beds were super comfortable even the bath towels were a good quality. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great place on the lake. PROST!

Quick getaway

The best part of the place is the backyard. It is gorgeous and easier to go down and up. The house is comfortable to move around and we enjoyed our stay. The host was wonderful to communicate with. The view toward Lake Anna is gorgeous from the house.

Hope to Stay Again!

House was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a multigenerational family group. We spent a lot of time in the huge boathouse. Public boat ramp is right around the corner. Beach area at edge of lake is great to wade into for all ages.

Great relaxation and beach lovers dream.

The whole family had a blast. The boys loved the beach with sand and the swimming/diving dock, we loved the boat dock which was beautiful for the sunsets. The house was clean. The whole trip was very relaxing! Bud and Cathy were great and had excellent communication. We can’t wait to come here again!

Perfect family getaway

The house was perfect for my family and celebrating our 25th anniversary. The location is convenient and just down the road from a restaurant and small store. The family enjoyed the property and all it had to offer. We enjoyed many hours fishing, renting a pontoon, kayak and paddleboard and relaxing at the boathouse which is a bonus. The house had just the right number of bedrooms and the kitchen was unbelievably well stocked with anything you need to cook. Felt right at home while on vacation.

This was my first experience with VRBO property and I will absolutely do it again. This property was luxurious and provided us with everything we needed. Owners were communicative and the neighbor was very helpful. He even made a special trip to help us with tv!

Fishing Trip

Group of six men five were retired, Four Engineers and two Firefighters. Went fishing all five days and had a great time. The lake house was perfet, all though we basically slept, most of our meals were at local restaurants. Could not ask for a better boat house, plenty of room for all three boats. Several of us are considering this location for a future family vacation.

Fantastic house right in the water

This house had everything we needed! There are so many houses we’ve rented where some of the bare essentials were available. We felt like it was a place where you can easily cook your own meals. We loved the little sandy beach area and the fire pit with available fire wood. The house was quite spacious and you can tell the owners keep good care of it. We can’t wait to come back again next year.

Great Place to Stay

This home is perfect. Everything is neat, clean, tidy. The inside of the home is set up to maximize the view and use of the lake. The outside of the home has some landscaping that is very well thought out. The views from the deck of the home are awesome. The deck near the boathouse is a great place to have morning coffee. Overall this is a great place to rest and relax. The owners are to be complimented for keeping this home perfect.

We had been coming to the lake primarily to waterski for 30+ years. Always dreamed of having our own place and finally made the decision after looking at more homes than you can imagine to find just the right one. We live permanently in Northern VA and plan to make it down to the lake as often as possible, regardless of the season.

Why they chose this property

We have 7 children now from High School to early 30's, so we needed a property that would hold our family of 9 (at times to include the Grandparents) and entertain all ages, young and old. And that is what we found!

What makes this property unique

We really enjoy the expansive deck, screen porch, large yard to play in, natural beach with gradual fall off which is wonderful for little ones and old ones alike. Our new boathouse is over the top with Gazebo, overhead fan, lounge furniture, large sun deck, bar room with fridge, microwave and hotdog maker! We offer 'whip' boat docking system for guests. Our dead-end street with cul-de-sac is great for the younger ones to bike or skate. Especially appealing is the ability to take a stroll to The Cove Restaurant, ice cream shop or convenience market in 10 minutes.
