Great stay.

Excellent location. Golf Car was gas, never had to worry about how far we went. Golf Car was a 4 seater so could always take friends. One and only issue was no grill. We have stayed for a month or two every year since 2000 and this will always be at the top of the list for rentals.

All good except towel location, coffee pot, leaking seal on hallway bathroom toilet that woke us the first night and knowing about check out list ahead of time for early departure for family emergencies like we had. Nice place beautifully decorated great support from call number for issues. Really enjoyed exploring the area on the golf cart provided!!! Thank you.

3 month stay in winter

Home had an excellent supplied kitchen. Everything we needed for three month stay with lots of cooking. Home was clean with lots of drawer space and plenty of hangers. Appreciated the cleaning supplies. We didn’t use the golf cart except a couple of times due to the problem leaving the neighborhood and getting across Morse Blvd. At certain times of day, the traffic was very heavy. The neighborhood itself was very quiet with no barking dogs or outside noise. We would highly recommend to future guests.

For what we endured I expected at least 500 off we’re ready to leave. We vacuumed all the floors towels are clean and folded. The sheets are clean and folded on the beds. I have proof of everything. The sinks are cleaned out. The refrigerator is wiped out. Vacuumed the garage. We couldn’t even enjoy the golf cart because it is broken down. The neighbor went past and said what are you driving that for you need to get a new one I told her we were just renting the highest speed it goes is 19. We didn’t feel safe in it we parked it in the garage and never took it out again.We put the trash out Thursday night they took it. We took some other trash away the remainder trash we put in the garbage bag put it in the garage sprayed the trashcan and put a clean bag on the edge of it.The furnace is fixed, but it is banging all night long like a thumping sound. You have to get the guy back to work on This is Terri and John Prestas from 457 Hildago your home is beautiful very well stocked. We had issues though. we booked from December 22 to the 29th. I called your office twice and left messages but you’re closed until the 29th. How convenient that’s when we leave.Christmas Eve We had no heat no air. It was freezing. We reported it on Christmas. Kevin came out. couldn’t do anything. The air heating guy came out the next day fixed it around one or 2 o’clock. We weren’t there. The fan in the family room is going to fall off the ceiling. Great location

This villa was just on the border of Spanish Springs close to Lake Sumter. It is an older villa. Kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of towels and linens. Master bathroom is very small. In my opinion, I think it was a bit overpriced……newer villas that are more updated with a golf cart are priced the same as this one. Owners did a great job with the new flooring through the home. The golf cart was a great to have! It was nice they supplied the garage with a gas can so I could fill up the tank to leave it full for the next occupants! The weather and my entire stay was DELIGHTFUL!

Would You like This for First VRBO Experience?

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property has a great location and is tastefully decorated and well furnished. However, there were issues. The shower off the master bedroom was clogged, would not drain properly, it took 4 days for this to be resolved. Cockroaches were found especially in one bathroom on multiple occasions and in the kitchen. We were told that the prior renter had the same issue. There was a more than 2 weeks gap between the prior renter checkout and our arrival. We feel that was adequate time, where the issue should have been addressed. The property manager says they will refund part of our charges, due to encountering these issues. We recommend that anyone considering renting this property, call the property manager first before making payments, to learn how this has been dealt with. VRBO was very little help in the situation, wanted us to send pictures of the dead cockroaches! We explained we didn't save them to show to people!

We thank you for bringing this to our attention and we were able to address the pest control issue as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, when we run into a pest problem it some times takes a few weeks and several applications before we see them gone completely. The home was treated and professionally deep cleaned to reduce the exposure of the cockroaches and we have not experienced them again.
