This place was so great. Clean, 25 minutes away from town, which is exactly what we were looking for. And the freighters coming through in the canal was AWESOME!!

Really loved our time at this beautiful home. Lots of room for all of us. Seeing the ships go by was really nice. There were some ants in the kitchen, But I know our host was trying to correct the problems. He was super nice and very responsive. Pretty well stocked kitchen. Couldn’t find a wine cork so bring one along just in case. :) doesn’t everyone have one in the car anyway :) Great place, would go back.

We loved our stay on the rock cut. The property is beautiful and very well stocked. Very fun to walk out in the shallows and get in the river a bit. We never got a chance to use the canoe is my main regret. I didn't realize there was no AC or central air, but it's the UP and isn't needed most months out of the year. It would've been nice during our stay just to keep things dryer, but they've got fans in every room to keep air moving. Everything is very well stocked throughout, but make sure to bring some laundry detergent if you plan on using it was the only thing.
