We loved the stay, clean and spacious. Easy check in and check out. Communication with the host was perfect. His directions to the place were spot on. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved hosting Christine and would most certainly welcome her back!
This house and property was beautiful. It's in a country setting that was overall very peaceful. We woke up to deer on the grounds near the deck each morning which was really a welcome sight. The house is fairly well stocked with dishes, appliances, and cooking gear. There wasn't much in terms of spices so make sure to bring your own. There is a grill on the deck as well that we took advantage of. The hot tub wasn't working during our stay but the host had warned me in advance that it might not be. I saw no issues with the deck unlike what a previous guest had mentioned. The house is in the country and had a slight musty smell when we first arrived but running the ceiling fans and opening some windows cleared that out pretty quickly. Our entire family enjoyed the pool table near the kitchen and the ping pong table in the massive detached garage. Another nice feature is that we were able to park both cars in the attached garage! There were even garage door remotes. There were seven us staying there and the massive dining room table made meals a breeze. With that many people, having 3.5 bathrooms was nice as well. The house really only sleeps 8 comfortably if 2 people are willing to sleep on the couch in each living room. We did not see a bed in the office and neither couch in the living rooms pulled out. There might be air mattresses somewhere but we did not find them. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there and would considering staying there again future.
No evening still by the river for us. When we got close to the river Bank We were questioned as if we were hoodlums and chased away by an unkind troll of a women. Told we couldn't be there. The Curtins were sun faded brown velvety color. They they made the place smell funny when the sun was at it's peak. Blankets and pillow cases dirty. There was a dead bird in the hot tub, the cover was off and on the ground. The hot tub did not work. The bathroom toilet upstairs was taken apart and had dead flies and other bugs inside. We had to do our own cleaning as well put someone else's dishes away. Sheets hadn't been changed and there's a electrical issues with the porch area the lights went crazy going on and off randomly all night and no we looked they were not floodlights. Microwave and fridge and cooking utensils were dirty gross. There was literally a blanket of dust on everything so the cabin quite literally was not opened for us from a "previous" tenants...?! We pretty much based or trip activities around the cabin if we had known the hot tub didn't work we would NOT have booked also the deck is rotting from under next it'svery soft and not very sound. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Candy is completely justified in her comments and we have taken every corrective action to fix the problems. This is a property that has never been available for a vacation rental and we weren't aware of the condition it was in after the winter. We'll be refunding Candy at least half of the cost of her stay and are making the necessary repairs and dealing with the neighbors as it relates to guests getting river access.
This home is beautiful and the word spacious falls short. Our family had an amazing time with plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub was out of order but the host communicated this up front. Close to town, but still isolated, peacefull enough to hear the livestock each morning. I highly recommend this place for large groups...
