About this property

Across from Kamaole 2 Beach, concrete building, well maintained.

Very important, our complex Kihei Kai Nani, is HOTEL ZONED, and not affected by Maui's ongoing Transient accommodations issues. Ours is a one-bedroom condo, on the top (2nd) floor, next to our corner unit #212 of building #3, The unit has a full kitchen and amenities. Our Lanai is a good size with ocean and beach views and there is a nice table and chairs on the lanai where we eat most meals. We have recently fully renovated our condo (down to the studs in every room) which means it is brand new. It is furnished with high-end appliances and furniture etc. Our bathroom is completely tiled with a very spacious shower, and all new towels etc. Kamaole beach II is directly in front of us, about 100 yds from the door. The pool and laundry room are about 100 ft. away at the pool. Restaurants and shops are 1/2 a block away. Our complex, Kihei Kai Nani, was one of the first two Kihei resorts built in the seventies. They could have chosen any of the beaches for miles around, but they chose Kamaole II, what more to say? Actually I should comment on our decision to not install a dishwasher, washer and dryer, We have been visiting our first condo in Kihei Kai Nani for about 35 years now, and have never felt the need for such appliances. Two people can surely wash dishes in a large double sink, and a washer and dryer take up a lot of space, and are very expensive to operate with Maui electricity costs. They give off heat, they are noisy, and they can leak and need repairs. When the laundry room is steps away, beside the pool where you often meet other vacationers, it is a no brainer. In our opinion, A/C in Hawaii is generally not necessary,, but we have installed quality units for those, that desire it, I have owned my 1st condo in Kihei Kai Nani for 35 years and have never lost a guest due to not having the appliances aforementioned. Finally, if you are looking for the cheapest deal, in KKN, then ours is not it, but I do believe for a few dollars more, we will give you one of the best units in KKN for your money, We just purchased a new Queen sofa bed and mattress in Jan/25

Great vacation rental

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean and organized and had everything you would need. Being within walking distance of the beaches and places to eat was a huge plus as well. 10/10 would stay again!

This was our second year at the property and it didn't disappoint. The unit is great - as described and owner is easy to reach with any questions. The property is right across the street from one of the better beaches in Maui (wide, sandy, not crowded) and the unit is one of the closer ones within the property to the beach. The area is popular and busy (which we like), but there is no noise or rowdy crowds and the street is super easy to cross - cars stop immediately for pedestrians.

We had a great time at this property. The location is super convenient to a great beach, dining and retail. Everything you need within walking distance. The condo was extremely clean, modern and had everything on site to make it a great stay. Robert is an excellent host and was very flexible in helping us with a short notice reservation. Across from the Beach!

I have stayed in Bob’s condo several times, and each time is great! He is so responsive if needed, the condo is across from the beach and a short walk to grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. The condo is fully stocked with everything you might need and there is a beautiful pool nearby condo as well to use. Plenty of parking spots inside to choose from. I strongly recommend this condo for anyone looking to be extremely close to everything!

A slice of paradise

This location was perfect. The unit was centrally located in Kihei. Near the beach, restaurants and other shops. We enjoyed going out to see the sunset every evening. The unit was also stocked with everything we needed from the kitchen to the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable unit! Robert was great to communicate with. The condo was recently remodeled and had everything we needed and then some. Loved the location and walkability to many restaurants, the beach, stores, etc. Also the umbrella and beach chairs were such a nice touch. Would love to return and stay here again!

Wonderful condo

The condo is beautiful inside and very nicely updated. The layout of the condo is great and has plenty of room . We had everything we needed for our stay and really enjoyed the deck with the nice little ocean view. It is situated very close to the beach and in walking distance to many amenities. The owner is wonderful to work with and very responsive to messages. We will definitely try booking again!

Another Great Stay

We've stayed here several times and our trip was great as per usual. We've had family and friends stay in other vacation rentals, and this one is by far, the best stocked. It has everything you could need and more. Bob is very responsive with any concerns and has a lot of great suggestions for everything you might need on your stay in Maui. Location is also one of the best you can get in Kihei as it is one of the closest units within walking distance to the beach. Mahalo for another great year KKN!

Peaceful, Accomodating Stay

Robert told us everything we could need to know about navigating and experiencing Maui hassle-free. Stay in The Best at KKN

We have been traveling to Kihei, Maui for over 25 years. Most of our stays have been at KKN. Took us a while but finally found our favorite with the condo. The location provides an ocean view and the owners have remodeled recently completely. New cupboards, furniture, and A/C in both living area and bedroom. (A/C isn’t always needed in the 2nd floor unit with great cross breezes.) There are many restaurants within walking distance and the beach is a short walk across the road... the best beach in Maui, imho. And you can easily walk the 3 beaches.

Maui Vacation

We loved our stay at this condo directly across the street from Kameole Beach 2! You definitely want to be at this end of Kihei where the beaches are amazing, and you can easily walk to lots of amazing restaurants. The host was an excellent communicator and even phoned us upon our arrival and let us know that the cleaners were done, and we could check-in early if we liked. The condo was as pictured with comfortable furnishings. We liked the updates such as bed-level outlets which made it easy to plug in our phones. The condo was very clean and well equipped. Thank you, Bob, we really enjoyed our stay!

Kihei Perfection

The Wilson’s are amazing property owners! Excellent communication, great location in Kihei (which is close to so much... Makena, Wailea, Paia, Lahaina... and so much more) with great beaches, shops, restaurants and friendly folks. The condo is immaculate and I loved cooking there with its fully stocked kitchen! And, when the tradewinds pick up, you can just head to the pool! I can’t wait to return (and for a longer stay!). I stayed in unit 213... but my plan is to come back with family as neighbors in their other unit next door! Don’t miss out on this!

Ocean View & Steps to Sand

Pros: This condo exceeded our expectations. We loved the very close easy 2 minute walk across the street to a beautiful swim beach with morning tree shade. We loved the ocean view from the living room and lanai. The condo is super clean, great condition, and well-supplied with an umbrella, 2 beach chairs, 4 beach towels, beach bag, and a soft and hard cooler. The condo complex has a rinsing station with seating to rinse sand off after a beach day. Cons: None! This was a great rental for the two of us!

Great Location and amenities!

Location is perfect, close to beautiful beaches, walking paths, restaurants and shopping! The condo is quiet, well appointed and with great air circulation. You can check the conditions of the ocean from the private lanai. Being on the second floor adds to the privacy. The condo has everything thing you need. The kitchen and shower is especially nice! The pool is huge. We really found the no key needed feature to be very handy! The breeze moves nicely throughout the condo with the fans and windows. Air conditioning is available but was not needed in May if you open things up. Our weeklong stay was very peaceful with no feeling of hustle or bustle! There are great restaurants near by, an ABC store, and other conveniences. We bought our groceries at Walmart , near the airport so have no info on local grocery stores. Easy to find long walks going either way on the beaches. There are nice grassy parks along the beach as well. The beaches were not crowded at all! It is less than 30 minutes from airport/car rental to condo. I would definitely stay here again!

I am a retired firefighter, from Vancouver B.C. I first purchased in Kihei Kai Nani in 1974, early in 2013, we purchased the unit next door, and stripped it bare, to do a total reno which took 3 months.

Why they chose this property

My family has been visiting this area for more than 30 yrs, It was one of the first complexes built in Kihei, they picked the best beach, because they could. Our complex is concrete construction and therefore looks as new.
