Welcome to a cozy, thoughtfully designed studio on the Quietside of Mount Desert Island — just minutes from Acadia’s best hiking, biking, and coastal views.

After a day exploring, unwind by your private fire pit under the stars, surrounded by trees and fresh Maine air.

THE SPACE

The studio is attached to our family home but has a private entrance and dedicated guest space.

Inside, you’ll find:
* A comfortable Nectar bed for restful nights
* A bright, clean studio layout
* A simple kitchenette for light meals
* A private bathroom

It’s designed to be simple, functional, and relaxing — perfect for couples or solo travelers.

OUTDOOR COOKING

We provide an electric Blackstone flat top grill (not a traditional BBQ), which is great for:
* Breakfast (eggs, pancakes, bacon)
* Simple dinners
* Quick meals after a long day exploring

We want you to have the right expectations — this helps everyone have a great stay.

FAMILY HOME

This studio is attached to our home, and we have two young boys.
You will:
* Hear kids playing outside
* See normal family activity in the yard

We do our best to keep things respectful and quiet, especially in the evenings.

BATHROOM AND SINK

We have a macerating toilet that pumps out the toilet, shower and sink water automatically but you will hear it run when showering or flushing the toilet. There is a kitchen sink, but not one in the bathroom at the moment (we are adding that soon).

OUTDOOR SPACE

We are continuing to improve and finish the outdoor area (landscaping, etc.).

The fire pit and seating area are fully usable
Some areas of the yard are still natural/unfinished

We’ll be updating photos as improvements are completed.

SHARED PROPERTY
You have your own private entrance and outdoor area
The broader yard is part of a lived-in family property

GUEST ACCESS

If we have a campfire going on our side of the home guests are free to come visit and join.

You can walk to the local grocery store, Roddick's takeout food and ice cream, and the Golf of Maine mini-golf.
