The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Check out time is 10AM. Your individual door codes will work on both the front door and equipment storage for the duration of your stay.
Wash/return all used beach towels to the cubby. Wash and return all used dog bin items. Clean and return all water toys and beach equipment to storage closets
A late fee of $50 is assessed for past check-out time, beginning after the 15 minute grace period at 10:15AM. Our cleaning team runs on a very tight schedule. Scan the Check Out QR Code upon departure
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Perfect location+perfect home!

You will not regret staying here! The location was perfect distance from food and fun! We had the best time and will be rebooking for next year! Peaceful, plenty of space, and a perfect short walk to the beach! Communication was fantastic! This house has everything needed for a short or long stay! We cannot wait to come back and enjoy another week in this beautiful home!!

Why We Fell in Love with Gray Beard’s Lagoon

The first time we stood on the wraparound deck, watching the sun melt into Little Lagoon while the Gulf breeze drifted across the water, we knew this place was special.

It’s rare to find a home that gives you both worlds — the peaceful calm of a private lagoon beach and the endless white sands of the Gulf just steps away. We loved the idea of mornings launching kayaks from our own dock, afternoons walking to the Gulf for waves and sunshine, and evenings gathered together on the deck as the sky turned pink and gold.

This home felt different from the start — quieter, more private, more connected to the water. The lagoon has a stillness that invites you to slow down. The Gulf brings the energy and sparkle of beach life. Together, they create something magical.

We imagined big family dinners, kids playing on the sand, fishing at sunset, laughter echoing from the decks, and memories that would last long after the trip ended. That vision is why we chose this home — and why we’ve poured so much care into making it welcoming, comfortable, and truly special.
