Surrounding Area is a sketchy neighborhood, not close to any downtown district activity, The most alarming issue was the door code was the same code as another unit, which we used for entry and someone was home! We did not feel safe at all.

Hi Leonard, the neighborhood is actually a great location to many things in Cincinnati, including TQL Stadium, downtown bars and The Banks. The door code to the front unit isn’t the same, the door was just unlocked. The check in instructions clearly state to walk to the left of the property through the black gate as the airbnb is in the rear unit so guests have private access to the backyard. Unfortunately you didnt fully read the instructions and walked into a different home. This review is unfair as the home was clean and you didn’t experience any “sketchy” behavior the few minutes you were here.

Overall good experience. The layout was not my favorite especially with a toddler. The bedrooms were both upstairs and the stairs were very steep. Luckily there is a door with a lock upstairs. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you have small kids staying with you, or if you have bad knees. There was always parking in front which was nice or you can park in the side driveway. One of the beds was really low to the ground so something to keep in mind. I actually preferred it but might not be for everyone. The place is older and it shows. Bathrooms need some work. I liked that it is close to downtown area and it was good price. The host was very responsive to messages. I was concerned when we first arrived because the area seemed a bit sketchy and run down but we had no issues and we actually hardly saw anyone outside. Overall it was okay.

Host was responsive, engaged whenever we reached out. First night daughter saw a bug in bathroom. We were hoping it was just one. The bedspreads were white,we usually check the beds bring our own linen, we forgot. There were was dirt, and stains. We went to Walmart. The second night after a very long day at the wedding came back roaches in the bathroom and kitchen ( all the lights were out) turned them on and saw them. We got our stuff put it in garbage bags, dumped everything to prevent bring bugs home. It is a decent looking place but more outside lighting is needed, better cleaners or new linen and exterminator. We left in the wee hours of the morning. Contacted host replied linen is was twice and would have cleaners check. Also would get an exterminator as if she did not know there were roaches, waterbug or whatever you want to call them.

We have invested in brand new sheets to ensure no stains are present and have worked with professional laundry services to ensure our guest receive the best services we have to offer. The property does NOT have any sort of bug issue and is thoroughly disinfected between each guest with bleach products to prevent any bug activity.

Home not as described. Thought it was one story as no pictures or stairs mentioned in the description. All bedrooms and showers where upstairs and my disabled sister couldn't stay at the home. VRBO customer service offered 120 voucher on a one night stay but it.was a holiday weekend(4th of July) so one night was estimated at 350 Home was dirty and needs some TLC.
